HYDRAULIC FITTING, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF IN ROBOT SYSTEMS

In an implementation, a hydraulic assembly comprising an end section of a hydraulic hose formed from a volume of material, the end section having a first outer diameter and an open end, is formed by molding a flange in the end section of the hydraulic hose, and threading an annular gasket onto the end section of the hydraulic hose between the flange and the open end of the hydraulic hose, and adjacent to the flange. The flange is formed in the volume of material, and has a second outer diameter greater than the first outer diameter. The molding of the flange may include applying heat to a mold, inserting the open end of the end section of the hydraulic hose into the mold, and thermally deforming a portion of the end section of the hydraulic hose to form the flange.

PIPE CONNECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PIPE CONNECTION

To produce pipe connections to conduits (10), such as drinking water main lines which have been remediated using a liner (12), a pipe clamp (20) is attached after a bore (21) has been made, and is secured with a clamping strap (22), for example. A pipe connection adapter (14) with a flange collar (15) and a seal (34) arranged thereon is introduced from the inside of the pipe (10). The anti-rotation device (29) between the pipe clamp (20) and the pipe connection adapter (14) ensures that the latter assumes a precisely defined position, such that its flange collar (15), with a shape corresponding to the intersection curve of the conduit/bore, provides a seal on the liner (12) exactly on the edge (21) of the bore.

It is also proposed to insert the connector from the outside of the conduit (10). For this purpose, the end region (41) of the pipe connection adapter (14) towards the conduit is flexible and can either be compressed to the bore diameter via glide surfaces (48) or can be produced or prepared with a diameter-reduced end region (41) and then expanded into the sealing position by means of an inner sleeve. In each case, the end region (41) is surrounded by an elastomeric, flexible sheathing (38) which, preferably in a 2-component injection molding process, was connected by a material bond to the main body (40) of the pipe connection adapter (14).

An example fitting includes: a fitting body having counterbore, where the counterbore defines an annular shoulder within tire fitting body: a spring having a first end interfacing with the annular shoulder of the counterbore; and a seal carrier having: (i) a first end face interfacing with a second end of the spring, (ii) a second end face configured to interface with an internal surface of a port, such that the spring is configured to apply a biasing force on the seal carrier toward the internal surface of the port, (iii) a first annular groove on an exterior peripheral surface of the seal carrier, where the first annular groove is configured to have a radial seal disposed therein, and (iv) a second annular groove in the second end face, where the second annular groove is configured to have a face seal disposed therein.

Puzzle-lock pipe mount assembly

A carrier assembly for a plurality of pipes includes a block and a keeper plate. The block has pipe holes defined therein, which are configured to receive the pipes. A slot is angular to the pipe holes. The keeper plate has a planar member and open channels formed therethrough, which are configured to partially surround the pipes. A lock member on the keeper plate interfaces the slot in the block. The keeper plate is moveable between an unlocked position, where the lock member is outside of the slot of the block and the open channels are not aligned with the pipe holes of the block; and a locked position, rotated relative to the unlocked position, where the lock member of the keeper plate is within the slot of the block, and the open channels of the keeper plate are aligned with the pipe holes of the block.

Missile for frac manifold

Missiles for frac manifolds manifold the discharge from a plurality of pumps. The missile comprises a missile body and inlet assemblies. The missile body has a straight primary bore and a plurality of feed bores. The primary bore extends axially through the missile body. The feed bores extend radially through the missile body and define a socket. An inlet assembly is associated with each feed bore. The inlet assembly comprises a nipple and a collar. The nipple has a bore extending axially between a spigot and a union end. The nipple is connected to the collar. The spigot is received in the socket of the feed bore. The union end is adapted for connection to a flowline component. The collar comprises mating parts releasably coupled together around the missile body. The nipple is thereby releasably coupled to the missile body by coupling the collar to the missile body.
