A side entry sub has an elongated main body with a longitudinal bore and a side passage intersecting the longitudinal bore. A removable hub has a nose portion which threadably engages mating threads in the side passage, with a resilient seal on the nose portion providing a fluid seal with the main body. The threads are formed such that a flange on the hub advances into contact with the main body with a desired contact force as holes in the flange come into alignment with threaded holes in the main body. Threaded flange bolts through the flange holes engage the threaded holes in the main body. Locking washers, preferably NORD-LOCK brand locking washers, are used on the flange bolts. The removable hub is structurally connected to the main body by the threaded connection and contact of the flange with the main body, and pressure- and fluid-sealed by the resilient seal.

A conduit coupling adapter for securing attaching a conduit to an enclosure. The conduit coupling adapter generally includes a first end for receiving a conduit and attaching to it via an adhesive, and a second end coupled to the second end comprises threads and is configured for attaching to an enclosure using a locknut.

An outlet fitting broadly comprises a coupler, a plug, and a gasket. The coupler engages a conduit opening of a conduit and includes an aft section, a forward section, and a radially extending flange bisecting the aft and forward sections. The aft section includes a narrowing inner surface forming a fluid passageway. The flange includes an upper surface for abutting the conduit near the conduit opening. The plug has a laterally elongated longitudinally extending central aperture. The aft section is inserted into the conduit opening and a tool inserted into the central aperture draws the plug towards the forward section and expands the aft section into secure engagement with the conduit. The gasket is also urged against the periphery of the conduit opening and forms a seal between the coupler and the conduit.

An outlet fitting broadly comprises a coupler, a plug, and a gasket. A plumbing fitting assembly includes an anchor member for being received in a transverse hole in a structure. One end of the anchor member is externally threaded and the other includes a catch portion for engaging a surface of the structure adjacent the hole. The threaded end is threaded into a clamping member configured to form a seal with the opposite surface of the structure or another liquid conveying structure. The anchor member can include a tool formation for mating with a rotating structure of a tool. The assembly can include a lock ring for being lockingly received in an interior passage to prevent the catch portion from deflecting inwardly when installed. The plumbing fitting assembly can also be configured for forming a plumbing fitting at a transverse hole in a flexible, liquid-impermeable panel.

A plumbing fitting assembly includes an anchor member for being received in a transverse hole in a structure. One end of the anchor member is externally threaded and the other includes a catch portion for engaging a surface of the structure adjacent the hole. The threaded end is threaded into a clamping member configured to form a seal with the opposite surface of the structure or another liquid conveying structure. The anchor member can include a tool formation for mating with a rotating structure of a tool. The assembly can include a lock ring for being lockingly received in an interior passage to prevent the catch portion from deflecting inwardly when installed. The plumbing fitting assembly can also be configured for forming a plumbing fitting at a transverse hole in a flexible, liquid-impermeable panel.

A plastic tank having a connection device for the plastic tank. The connection device includes a connection nipple, composed of a low-emission material, which is to be inserted into or attached to, from the outside, an opening of a tank wall of the plastic tank. A counter-piece is arranged to lay flat against the inside of the tank wall around the opening. The connection nipple is connected by screw connection or clip connection to the counter-piece. A seal is arranged around the opening between the outside of the tank wall and a sealing face of the connection nipple that faces the outside of the tank wall.

A structure whereby a piping nozzle can be simply attached to a tank body is disclosed. A cylinder of a nozzle body is inserted through the interior and exterior of the tank body via a nozzle body insertion hole in the tank body. A skirt is provided on an end portion of the cylinder, and expands annularly from the end portion of the cylinder in the interior of the tank body. A sealing member is interposed between an inner surface of the tank body and the skirt around the nozzle body insertion hole. A spacer member is disposed on an outer surface of the tank body around the cylinder. By tightening a nut on a male screw of the cylinder of the nozzle body, a portion of the tank body around the nozzle body insertion hole is sandwiched by the skirt of the nozzle body and the spacer member.

A structure whereby a piping nozzle can be simply attached to a tank body is disclosed. A cylinder of a nozzle body is inserted through the interior and exterior of the tank body via a nozzle body insertion hole in the tank body. A skirt is provided on an end portion of the cylinder, and expands annularly from the end portion of the cylinder in the interior of the tank body. A sealing member is interposed between an inner surface of the tank body and the skirt around the nozzle body insertion hole. A spacer member is disposed on an outer surface of the tank body around the cylinder. By tightening a nut on a male screw of the cylinder of the nozzle body, a portion of the tank body around the nozzle body insertion hole is sandwiched by the skirt of the nozzle body and the spacer member.
