POLYMER PIPE, A PIPE JOINT INSERT DEVICE, A PIPE JOINT ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF FORMING SAME
A polymer pipe has a length between a first end and a second end. The length and the first end have a first diameter and the second end is a belled end having a second diameter larger than the first diameter. An insert device is received within the second end and has an annular body and a spline groove formed in the annular body and facing radially inward. The insert device is pre-installed in the belled end during the belling process.
DUCT CONNECTOR
A duct connector includes an internal sleeve extending from a first end to a second end and includes a first interior wall and a first exterior wall, the first interior wall defining a first interior volume. An external sleeve extends from a first end to a second end, and includes a second interior wall and a second exterior wall, the second interior wall defining a second interior volume. A portion of the internal sleeve is located within the second interior volume. A portion of a duct is located within the first interior volume. Each of the first end and the second end of the external sleeve is moved between a first position and a second position. When in the first position, a force secures the internal sleeve to the portion of the duct. When in the second position, the duct is movable with respect to the internal sleeve.
Pipe coupling
A pipe connector or coupling for providing a coupling to a pipe, the pipe coupling comprising: at least one gripper ring which receives a pipe therewithin, wherein the at least one gripper ring comprises a gripper which includes a plurality of blade elements which are displaceable between a first, pipe-receiving configuration in which the pipe is receivable within the at least one gripper ring and a second, inwardly-displaced inserted configuration in which the blade elements are inserted into an external wall of the pipe; and a clamp for applying a radially-inward compressive load on the at least one gripper ring to displace the blade elements thereof from the pipe-receiving configuration to the inserted configuration.
System, method and apparatus for pull-actuated spline for coupling with a pipe
A pipe system includes a tubular body having an axis, a bore extending in an axial direction, a tubular body retainer groove formed in the bore, and a tubular body exterior. Retainers are configured to be mounted in the tubular body retainer groove only from the bore of the tubular body. In one version, the retainers cannot be installed in the tubular body retainer groove from the exterior of the tubular body. The retainers are configured to be circumferentially spaced apart from each other with respect to the axis. In addition, a pipe having a pipe exterior with a pipe retainer groove is configured to receive the retainers to form a pipe assembly.

QUICK CONNECTOR STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILES
A combined quick connector structure for fuel feed and return system may include a cover assembly; a lever mechanism along the inside walls of the fuel feed and fuel return openings of the cover assembly; a pawl and ratchet mechanism on either side of the cover assembly; a rib on either side of a connector assembly; the connector assembly with retainer elements for engine feed and engine return lines and fuel feed and return lines; actuator pads provided on the external and internal circumference of the openings of connector assembly; a locking mechanism on the inside circumference of the retainer elements for the fuel feed line and fuel return line; and a lever mechanism configured for hinging the cover assembly together with the connector assembly.
Pipe coupler and coupling methods
A pipe coupler has: an axis; and a body portion surrounding the axis. A circumferentially segmented collar extends from a first axial end of the body portion and has an inner diameter surface and an outer diameter surface. A plurality of fingers project from a second axial end of the body portion, axially opposite the first end and have inward radial projections.

An insert device is received or pre-installed within the second end and has an annular body with a seal part coupled to the annular body and a spline groove formed in the annular body and facing radially inward. Another polymer pipe is inserted in the belled end to form a pipe joint assembly and has a mating spline groove on the outer surface. The spline groove and mating spline groove axially align and receive a spline therein to axially interlock the two polymer pipes to form a pipe joint assembly.
