SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PULL-ACTUATED SPLINE FOR COUPLING WITH A PIPE
A pipe system includes a tubular body having an axis, a bore extending in an axial direction, a tubular body retainer groove formed in the bore, and a tubular body exterior. Retainers are configured to be mounted in the tubular body retainer groove only from the bore of the tubular body. In one version, the retainers cannot be installed in the tubular body retainer groove from the exterior of the tubular body. The retainers are configured to be circumferentially spaced apart from each other with respect to the axis. In addition, a pipe having a pipe exterior with a pipe retainer groove is configured to receive the retainers to form a pipe assembly.

Joint restraint for molecularly oriented pipe and method of manufacture using a groove formed on a spigot
A pipe joining system and pipe joint are shown in which two sections of plastic pipe, particularly molecularly oriented pipe, are joined. A first section of plastic pipe has a female, belled pipe end with a mouth opening and having an exterior surface, an interior surface and having an interior circumferential recess formed in the belled pipe end adjacent the mouth opening on the interior surface thereof. A second section of plastic pipe having a mating male plastic pipe end has an interior surface and exterior surface. The exterior surface has a circumferential groove formed at one circumferential location thereof which is alignable with the interior recess formed within the mouth opening of the belled pipe end as the pipe joint is made-up. The circumferential groove is formed during the manufacture of the plastic pipe by expanding the pipe against a restraining element located in the interior of an expansion mold. The respective grooves contain elements of a restraint system which form a restrained joint when the male and female pipe sections are assembled.

MECHANICAL PIPE COUPLING ASSEMBLY WITHOUT ADHESIVE OR BONDING AGENT
A mechanical coupling between a straight pipe end and a socket fitting comprises a seal ring and a locking ring disposed within the interior of the socket. The locking ring has a generally frustoconical shape with a plurality of corrugations extending circumferentially thereabout, the corrugations presenting inner edge portions engaging the outer annular surface of the pipe end and outer edge portions engaging the interior annular surface of the socket for opposing withdrawal of the pipe end axially outwardly from the socket.
SOCKET PIPE CONNECTION AND SALES TABLE WITH AT LEAST ONE SOCKET PIPE CONNECTION
A socket pipe connection includes at least one first tube and at least one second tube, wherein the first tube has a recess into which the second tube can be inserted, wherein the second tube has at least one slot by means of which the second tube can be slid onto an edge of the recess, wherein the recess is blocked by an elastic blocking element in the installed state. The socket pipe connection can be used on a sales table with at least one socket pipe connection.

Pipe Coupler and Coupling Methods
A pipe coupler (30) comprises: an axis (500); a body portion (70) surrounding the axis; a circumferentially segmented collar (72) extending from a first axial end of the body portion and having an inner diameter surface (80) and an outer diameter surface (82); and a plurality of fingers (90) projecting from a second axial end of the body portion, axially opposite the first end and having inward radial projections (96).
COUPLING FITTING FOR PIPES
The invention is directed to a coupling fitting, having a pipeline and having a connector sleeve. The pipeline and connector sleeve are each separate parts and are fixedly and non-detachably connected to one another by a connecting ring which can be produced in situ by injection molding plastics material. The invention is also directed to a method for making the coupling fitting.
