BORING MACHINE
A boring machine for boring a part of a fluid pipe in an uninterrupted flow state, includes: a shaft member having a leading end to which a cutter is attached; a drive mechanism configured to rotate the cutter and the shaft member around the shaft of the shaft member; and a forward and backward moving operation mechanism configured to move the cutter and the shaft member forward and backward in the axial direction of the shaft member by a handle that is manually rotated. The forward and backward moving operation mechanism is further configured to switch a feed amount of the cutter and the shaft member in the axial direction between at least two different feed amounts according to a rotational amount of the handle.
Wide range tapping sleeve
A tapping sleeve for a pipe element can include first and second sleeve portions, each defining a first axial end, a second axial end, a first side end, a second side end, and an arcuate portion extending between the first side end and the second side end; the second sleeve portion hingedly secured to the first sleeve portion; and a connecting element joining the first side ends of the first and second sleeve portions; wherein the connecting element, the first side end of the first sleeve portion, and the first side end of the second sleeve portion define at least a portion of a hinge of the tapping sleeve, a position of the first sleeve portion with respect to the second sleeve portion in an assembled condition in a circumferential direction of the tapping sleeve being different between the at least two assembled conditions of the hinge.
Irrigation Saddle Annular Seal Face
A pipe coupler having a saddle for connecting to a riser adapter for use in an irrigation system to distribute water. A dynamic seal is positioned in a circumferential channel of the riser adapter on the outer surface of a flange or projection that is positioned into the circular mount of the saddle. In response to water pressure against the dynamic seal, the dynamic seals the connection between the riser adapter and the saddle by sealing against the annular sealing face on the inner circumference of a circular mount of the saddle. The dynamic seal is an O-ring in preferred embodiments.
