VIBRATION DAMPING BAND AND MUFFLER
A vibration damping band to be mounted on an outer circumferential surface of a muffler main body includes a vibration damping material and an outer panel. The vibration damping material having elasticity is configured to be arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the muffler main body. The outer panel is arranged outside an outer lateral surface of the vibration damping material.
DUCT SOUNDPROOFING DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A soundproofing device; the soundproofing device includes a body and a set of soundproofing sections disposed therein. In some embodiments, a soundproofing system is also disclosed herein and includes a set of soundproofing devices. The soundproofing device and the soundproofing system are useful for easy installation into ductwork of a building to provide substantial soundproofing to the same.
Brake-system damping device
A brake-system damping device includes a first chamber, to which hydraulic pressure is to be applied, a second chamber, in which there is a compressible medium, and a first separating element for separating the first chamber from the second chamber. The brake-system damping device includes a third chamber, in which there is a compressible medium, and a second separating element for separating the second chamber from the third chamber. The second chamber is connected, for medium conduction, to the third chamber by means of a passage formed in the second separating element. A closure element is to be moved with the first separating element, by means of which closure element the passage is to be closed as soon as the hydraulic pressure has reached predefined pressure value in the first chamber.
SOUND ABSORBING STRUCTURE HAVING ONE OR MORE ACOUSTIC SCATTERERS ATTACHED TO OR FORMING A VEHICLE STRUCTURE
A sound absorbing structure includes a vehicle structure having a surface and at least one acoustic scatterer coupled to the surface. The at least one acoustic scatterer has a resonant frequency. The at least one acoustic scatterer has an opening and at least one channel. The at least one channel has a channel open end and a channel terminal end, the channel open end being in fluid communication with the opening. The sound absorbing structure may be configured to absorb sound waves at a certain frequency generated by a noise source. The certain frequency may be substantially similar to the resonant frequency of the at least one acoustic scatterer.
Valve Assembly
The disclosure relates to a valve assembly, comprising a valve body, in which a fluid channel is formed that connects a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, wherein a preload force is applied to a closing body, which is movably mounted in the fluid channel, in the direction of a valve seat formed in the valve body, a fluid force acting on the closing body against the preload force in order to open the valve seat. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball, the guide ball being arranged between the closing body and a lateral boundary of the fluid channel.
Helical strake attachment for tubular structural members
A helical strake pole system that includes a tubular pole having a longitudinal axis and threaded attachment points. The system further includes a helical strake fin disposed circumferentially around a portion of the tubular pole along the longitudinal axis. The system further includes couplers disposed on the tubular pole. The couplers are configured such that each coupler has a first portion with a slot configured to receive an upper portion of the helical strake fin and a second portion configured to removably coupled to a threaded attachment point of the tubular pole. In addition, each coupler is configured to position a portion of the helical strake fin substantially perpendicular to a surface of the tubular pole.
AIR SUPPLY DUCT FOR FAN AND COMBUSTION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
An air supply duct for fan is used to guide air to an air intake port of a fan, and includes a duct main body portion in which an air passage extending in a predetermined x direction with one end side set as an air inlet port is formed inside, and an air supply port for supplying air travelling through the air passage to the air intake port of the fan is arranged. A peripheral region of the air supply port of the inside of the duct main body portion is surrounded by wall portions in the periphery except for a communication portion with the air passage, and is configured as a space portion for generating air column vibration and having a width in a y direction intersecting the x direction larger than a width of the air passage. A combustion device including the air supply duct is provided.
Centre system
The invention relates to an assembly for centring a first elongate tubular element and a second elongate tubular element, such as an underwater pile accommodated within a noise mitigation screen, at a common central longitudinal axis along which axis both the first and second element extend, and wherein the centre system is provided with first coupling element for fixedly coupling the centre system with one of the first and second tubular elements, and second coupling element for engaging the other tubular element for centring the other tubular element at the central axis.
Valve Assembly
A valve assembly with a valve body, which has a fluid passage designed as a fluid inlet and at least one fluid passage designed as a fluid outlet, is disclosed. A fluid chamber connecting the fluid inlet to the at least one fluid outlet is formed in the valve body. A movably mounted closing body is positioned in the fluid chamber. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball. The at least one guide ball is arranged between the closing body and a lateral delimitation of the fluid chamber. A fluid passage is formed in the radial direction of the valve body.
Shower Hose Silencing Pad Apparatus
A shower hose silencing pad apparatus for silencing noise of a shower hose against the wall includes at least two segment bodies. Each segment body has a pair of outer edges and a sidewall extending therebetween. The sidewall has an inner face, an outer face, and a channel extending from the outer face through the inner face and between the pair of outer edges. Each segment body attaches to a shower hose. A plurality of dampeners is coupled to the outer face of each segment body. A plurality of connector straps is coupled to the segment bodies. Each connector strap is coupled between the outer edges of adjacent segment bodies of the at least two segment bodies.
