WATER PIPE WITH LID THAT COVERS THE BOWL AND MOUTHPIECE, AND RELATED METHODS OF ASSEMBLY AND USE
A water pipe has: a water chamber; a bowl or bowl connector; a hollow neck forming a mouthpiece; and a lid that seals both the mouthpiece and the bowl or bowl connector when the lid is in a closed position. A method of operating a water pipe includes assembling the lid in the closed position on the water pipe. A method of operating a water pipe includes, while the lid is out of the close position: combusting or vaporizing a smokable substance in the bowl to create smoke vapor; and drawing the smoke vapor through the water chamber and out the mouthpiece.

Device for closed systems for equalizing pressure surges
Device (1) for closed systems for equalization of pressure surges, having an outlet nozzle (2), on which an impact plate (3) is provided and a hinged cover (4) is mounted pivotably, wherein the hinged cover (4) lies in a rest position (5) on the outlet nozzle (2) and in an open position (6) bears on the impact plate (3), wherein at least one holding-closed device (7) is provided, which presses the hinged cover (4) in the rest position (5) against the outlet nozzle (2) and in the case of a pressure surge releases the hinged cover (4), wherein the device has a control unit (8) that controls the holding-closed device (7).
Flexible, foldable foreign material exclusion device
A foreign material exclusion device that is adapted to seal an area of a construction, such as a tube or pipe or other cavity, from foreign material or debris temporarily, wherein the device includes a cylindrical plug that has a plurality of resilient bodies for holding the device within a particular construction. The bodies are substantially planar, and semicylindrical in shape wherein two bodies are utilized. A flexible cover includes a first pouch which contains a first body therein and desirably a second pouch of the cover contains a second body therein, with the cover having a hinge between said first and second pouches. When the device is not in use, the bodies can be folded against one another in a closed position until they are inserted into a tube or pipe whereupon they can be opened to an open position and generally form a disk having a snug, fitted connection with a wall of the tube or pipe.

End cap
To obtain an end cap that enables a brazing material ring to be appropriately placed and brazing to be reliably performed when inserting and placing an insertion part of the end cap in an end part of a rail body and securing the end cap by brazing it with the brazing material ring and, also, that is unlikely to result in a broken rail body when internal pressure is applied. An end cap to be inserted into and placed inside an end part of a rail body 2 and secured to an inner circumference of the rail body 2 by brazing, wherein an outer circumference of an insertion part 3 for insertion into the rail body 2 comprises an engagement groove 10 that is composed of a pair of side surfaces 11, 12 and a bottom surface 13 and that is capable of engagement with a brazing material ring 15.

Range of Rapid Couplers with Different Coupler Cartridges
A range includes a plurality of rapid couplers with each rapid coupler including a coupler housing that has a planar connection face and two coupler cartridges secured in or on the coupler housing. All the coupler housings are configured integrally. All the coupler cartridges are each secured directly in or on the associated coupler housing. The rapid couplers each further include a first working connection, a second working connection, a plurality of securing apertures, and optionally a leakage oil connection all of which are configured in an identical manner with respect to their shape and their relative position inside the associated connection face. At least two rapid couplers of the range have different coupler cartridges. All coupler housings are configured to be arranged with respect to a longitudinal axis beside each other with a constant spacing separation that is identical for all rapid couplers of the range.

Protector for threaded end of a tubular component with flexible seal
A temporary protector is for an extremity of a tubular joint component for drilling or operating hydrocarbon wells. The protector includes a sleeve to be attached to the component extremity and to protect a free end portion and a thread of the component extremity. The sleeve has a thread to engage with the thread of the component extremity and a peripheral sealing device assembled sealingly thereon such that it is liable to be brought into contact with a surface of the component located downstream of the thread of the component extremity, to provide a seal downstream of the thread. When the protector is being installed on the tubular component, at the time that the thread of the sleeve engages with the thread of the component extremity, at least one portion of the sealing is located axially downstream of the thread of the component extremity.
