Safety Clean-out Cap
20170370079 · 2017-12-28 ·

This safety clean-out cap system provides for the removal of water and debris from drains. It consists of a flow channel that is mounted within the opening of a clean-out cap. The flow channel is diametrically opposed to the top surface of the clean-out cap and bends at a 90-degree angle just below a rectangular recess. The rectangular recess has a grab portion that cooperatively receives a tool. Additional embodiments of the safety clean-out cap system include clean-out caps having channel extensions and a square-shaped channel. The channel extensions extend at a 180-degree angle from the clean-out cap and have a plurality of longitudinal rails and longitudinal plates that further facilitate the removal of the clean-out cap from drainpipes. The clean-out cap and the additional embodiments are attached to fittings, pipe sections and hose sections in order to regulate the flow of water and debris from a drain.

Plumbing vent cap remote removal system

A trap door cap for sealing around a trap door of a trap is disclosed. The canister includes a closed end and side walls extending from the closed end, wherein the side walls and the closed end together define a cup-shaped body having an open end opposite the closed end. The trap door cap further includes a seal configured to selectively apply a pressure-tight seal around an exterior surface of the trap at a longitudinal location of the trap inward of the trap door and a pressure-tight connection between the seal and the open end of the cup-shaped body, wherein the side walls, the closed end, the seal, and the pressure-tight connection together form a pressure-tight inner volume within the canister.

COUPLER DOOR PUSH BUTTON RELEASE FOR AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE

A locking assembly for a door assembly of an agricultural vehicle includes: an actuator that defines an actuator axis and is linearly movable between a first position and a second position and rotatable about the actuator axis between a first locking orientation and a second locking orientation and includes a pair of locking features; a biaser configured to bias the actuator toward the first position; an energizer configured to bias the actuator toward the first locking orientation when the actuator is in the second locking orientation; and a lock configured to engage a second locking feature when the actuator is in the second locking orientation. Linear movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position while the actuator is in the second locking orientation causes the lock to disengage from the second locking feature so the energizer rotates the actuator towards the first locking orientation.

HYDRANT NOZZLE CAP

A nozzle cap for a fire hydrant includes a cap cover comprising a metal material; and a cap body defining a cap axis, the cap body comprising: an inner housing comprising a metal material; and an outer housing comprising a non-metal material, the outer housing disposed axially between the inner housing and the cap cover, the outer housing comprising a substantially circumferential wall, the substantially circumferential wall defining a cavity between the inner housing and the cap cover, wherein a first end of the substantially circumferential wall engages the inner housing.

Fixtures for pipe installation, sealing and security

These fixtures aid in installing, sealing and securing pipe. Specifically, the invention aids in mating bell & spigot joints and securely capping open pipe ends of standard polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) pipe products as well as non-plastic piping by enabling equalized full circumference pressure on pipe ends to nudge, seal and/or secure pipe ends during installation or decommissioning.

Cap for risers in concrete decks

An assembly creates annular voids in concrete around the distal end of cylindrical tubes. A cap has a flat top and a cylindrical, depending skirt. An annular, foam plug extends between the inside of the skirt and the outer diameter of the tube. The plug has an undeformed inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the tube to create an interference fit around the tube and keep concrete out when the cap is on the end of the tube. The plug has a radial thickness of 0.3 to 1 inch, and has an axial length of 1 to 3 inches, with a bottom of the plug located at a bottom of the skirt. The cap is glued to the end of the tube for pressure testing. After the tube is entrained in concrete, the cap and plug are removed to leave a void in the concrete surface.

MAGNETIC QUICK CONNECT
20220047901 · 2022-02-17 ·

A magnetic quick connect for a fluid delivery system includes a male coupling member and a female coupling member. The male coupling member defines a first outer fluid communication path and includes a first magnetic material. A first inner member is disposed within the first outer fluid communication path and defines a first inner communication path. The female coupling member defines a second outer fluid communication path and includes a second magnetic material. A second inner member is disposed within the second outer fluid communication path and defines a second inner communication path. The male and female coupling members are detachably held together by an attractive force between the first and second magnetic materials such that the first and second outer communication paths are held in fluid communication, and the first and second inner communication paths are held in fluid communication.
