The device has an additional stepped bushing, and the first stepped bushing has a constant outside diameter and two parts with small and large internal diameters, and the second stepped bushing has a constant internal diameter and two parts with small and large diameters.
Lubricant film-forming composition and screw joint for steel pipe
A lubricant film-forming composition includes as a composition: 40 to 80 mass % of a base oil consisting of one or more selected from pentaerythritol fatty acid ester and trimethylolpropane fatty acid ester; 5 to 20 mass % of a solidifying agent consisting of paraffin wax; and 10 to 40 mass % of a solid lubricant consisting of one or more selected from alkali metal salt of hydroxystearic acid and alkali earth metal salt of hydroxystearic acid. A total content of the base oil, the solidifying agent, and the solid lubricant is 85 mass % or more and 100 mass % or less, and the lubricant film-forming composition does not contain heavy metals.
A CONNECTION AND PROTECTIVE RING THEREFOR
Disclosed is a connection comprising first and second lined tubular members having a coincident bore and a protective ring. The first lined tubular member has a pin end and the second lined tubular member has a box end. Each lined tubular member includes a tubular body, an annular liner, and a mortar filled annulus therebetween. The mortar filled annulus has an annular recess therein at at least one of the pin end and box end for receiving a part of the protective ring. The part received may be a flange on the ring.
Multilayered corrosion and anti-galling coating for threads and wearable materials
A multilayered corrosion and anti-galling coating for threads and wearable materials is a liner that can be superimposed onto the surface of a device in order to protect the surface from environmental hazards. To accomplish this, the coating has a base adhesive layer, an intermediary insulation layer, an interstitial adhesive layer, and a lubricating material layer. The base adhesive layer adheres to the device's surface thus enabling the coating to form a sealing liner. The intermediary insulation layer is positioned in between the base adhesive layer and the interstitial adhesive layer. As a result, the intermediary insulation layer prevents negative chemical interactions between the base adhesive layer and the interstitial adhesive layer. The lubricating material layer is super imposed onto the interstitial adhesive layer to provide a friction-reducing coating for the device's surface.
Wedge threadform having crest to root thread compound relief areas
A connection includes a first tubular member having a first screw threadform defined by a first plurality of crests, roots, and flanks, where each flank separates each crest from each root. The connection also includes a second tubular member having a second screw threadform defined by a second plurality of crests, roots, and flanks, where each flank separates each crest from each root. The crests and roots are substantially axial to the tubular members and the flanks are substantially radial to the tubular members. The first tubular member and the second tubular member are configured to connect when the first threadform engages with the second threadform. Thread compound relief spaces are formed between the first plurality of crests and the second plurality of roots and between the second plurality of crests and the first plurality of roots when the first and second tubular members connect.
TUBE ASSEMBLY, PRESSURE EXCHANGER AND REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
A tube assembly (12) including an inner tube (13) having an outer thread (15), an outer thread (14) having an inner thread (16) engaging the outer thread (15), at least for securing an angular position between the inner tube (13) and the outer tube (14) is provided. Such a tube assembly should facilitate mounting and maintenance of a reverse osmosis system. To this end, the inner tube (13) includes at least an groove (17) on its outer surface and the outer tube (14) includes an recess (18) on its inner surface, wherein a blocking element is arranged in a space formed by the recess (18) and the groove (17) in overlapping relation with the groove (17) and the recess (18).
Threaded joint for an oil well pipe
Oil well pipe component comprising a threaded portion, at least part whereof is coated with a layer of a corrosion-inhibiting material, that has been applied to at least the part of the threaded portion of the oil well pipe component by means of a method comprising a cataphoresis step from an aqueous bath, said method comprising providing the oil well pipe component comprising a threaded portion; immersing at least part of the threaded portion of the pipe component in a cataphoresis bath comprising water and suspended particles of corrosion-inhibiting material, and provided with an anode and a cathode means, the pipe component being connected to the cathode means; inducing a current through the bath, in order to provide the corrosion-inhibiting material with a positive charge; depositing a layer of the positively charged corrosion-inhibiting material onto the pipe component; and removing the immersed part of the pipe component with the layer of corrosion-inhibiting material from the cataphoresis bath and allowing the corrosion-inhibiting material to set.
