SYSTEM FOR REDUCING BAND CLAMP FAILURE
A system and a method for reducing band clamp failure on a multi-piece canister having an at least one first section coupled to an at least one second section by a band clamp, the system and method comprising a band clamp cover, wherein the band clamp cover comprises a cover first section and a cover second section, the cover first section is coupled to the cover second section at a first end by a hinge, the cover first section is coupled to the cover second section at a second end by removable fastener, the band clamp cover having a shape of the multi-piece canister, wherein the band clamp cover has a channel that encompasses the band clamp.
Fastener Assembly
A fastener assembly for connecting a fuel pipe to an engine component. The fastener assembly includes a housing and a fastener positioned within the housing. The housing has an end surface with an aperture for receiving a fuel pipe therethrough. At least one side wall extends from the end surface to define a recess for receiving a fastener therein. The fastener has a pipe inlet for receiving a fuel pipe therethrough, and a connecting arrangement for connecting the fastener to an engine component.
Anti-corrosion pipe system with adjustable length
A pipe system includes a first pipe section and a second pipe section arranged, and together defining a total length, along a longitudinal axis. The first and second pipe sections are movable with respect to each other so as to shorten or lengthen the total length. A fixation member clamps a portion of the second pipe section to a portion of the first pipe section. The fixation member includes an insulator which is electrically insulating and passes no electrical current between the first and second pipe sections.
BIMETALLIC PRODUCTION TUBING
The proposed utility model relates to production tubing, and more particularly to tubing that is suitable for a whole range of operations related to the oil industry, geological prospecting and drilling. A bimetallic production tubing comprises a main outer pipe made of carbon steel and, immediately adjacent same, a thin-walled inner pipe made of stainless steel. The thin-walled inner pipe is fitted inside the outer tube by plastic deformation of the thin-walled inner pipe such as to lie in complete and direct contact with the inner surface of the main outer pipe. The technical result of the claimed utility model is that of simplifying the structure of a production tubing, while at the same time increasing the durability thereof.
TUBING CONNECTOR FOR DECREASED CONTAMINATION
A protective guard for a medical tubing connector includes a ring, at least one flexible member attached at a first end to the ring and having a second end, and a base attached to the second end of the at least one flexible member. The ring is configured to fit over a first connection member of the medical tubing connector, while the base is configured to fit over a second connection member of the medical tubing connector. When coupled with the medical tubing connector, the protective guard helps prevent a user from touching the medical tubing connector.
PLUG CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO TUBULAR WORKPIECES MADE OF CONCRETE, EACH WORKPIECE HAVING AN INNER LINER MADE OF PLASTIC
The invention relates to a plug connection between two tubular workpieces (1, 2) which are made of concrete and each of which has an inner liner (5) made of plastic, one of which forms a tip end (3) and the other a socket end (4) receiving the tip end (3), wherein the inner liners (5) have circumferential sealing flanges (12) which cover the end face (13) of the tip end (3) or the socket face (14) and wherein a joint seal (16) is provided between the sealing flanges (12). In order to provide advantageous structural conditions, it is proposed that the inner liners (5) are provided with a circumferential elastomer angled profiled section (8, 9) at the end face, which receives the circumferential edge of the inner liner (5) in an end-face profiled groove (11) of its axially parallel limb (10) and whose limb at a right angle to the axis forms the sealing flange (12).
Method and apparatus for producing a sewer pipe element
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sewage pipe element comprising a plastics lining, the method comprising the following steps: providing a mould 2 for manufacturing the sewage pipe element, comprising a first sleeve 22 and a plastics element 20; introducing a concrete into the mould 2; attaching a second sleeve 28; demoulding the sewage pipe element; the first sleeve 22 being connected to the plastics element 20 and the plastics element 20 being connected to the second sleeve 28 in a fluid-tight manner in each case and forming at least part of the plastics lining.
