Locking Articulating Mounting Systems and Methods
20180010735 · 2018-01-11 ·

Systems and methods may provide a locking articulating mount. Small pieces of hardware, such as back pressure screws, may be used to lock a display in place. They can be adjusted to cause outward forces against the display away from the backing. A mount also may be adjustable for assembly, but when closed, may provide a significant reduction in play or movement. A latch may form part of the mount to hold the display against the inside edge that can only be released through a pull cable.

Coupler for coupling to an article of wear
11707098 · 2023-07-25 · ·

A coupler for coupling to a provided article of wear comprises a base plate and a clip. The coupler may be configured to provide a mount interface on an article of wear for an accessory to mount to. The base plate may comprise one or more structures configured to engage one or more respective portions of the clip over the provided article of wear. The clip may be shaped to interlock with the structures of the base plate. The clip may engage the base plate in a series of actions. The series of actions may be repeated in reverse to disengage the clip from the base plate. The series of actions for disengaging the clip from the base plate may reduce a likelihood of the clip in being unintentionally decoupled from the base plate, thereby increasing a likelihood that the coupler remains coupled to an article of wear.

Mounting Mechanism for Outdoor Power Converter

This application is directed to a mounting plate for attaching an electronic device to a mounting surface. The mounting plate includes an opening configured to receive a mounting fastener for securing the mounting plate to the mounting surface, and a first polygonal fastener structure configured to mate with a complementary second polygonal fastener structure of the electronic device. When the first and second fastener structures are mechanically mated to each other, the electronic device is fixed to the mounting plate. When the mounting fastener is secured to the mounting surface through the opening, the mounting plate is rotatable such that when the electronic device is fixed onto the mounting plate and the mounting plate is secured to the mounting surface by the mounting fastener, the electronic device and the mounting plate have an unlimited range of rotation with respect to the mounting surface and substantially consistent resistance.

A photography stand configured to aid in a taking of self or group photograph(s). The photography stand is placed in a visited location where photographs are frequently taken with a background of interest. The photography stand comprises a post, a platform, and a holder configured to hold a camera enabled handheld electronic device. The platform has a top surface that is textured and a bottom surface attaches to a top end of the post. The platform is stationary, but in alternative embodiments, the platform spins at the connection with the post. The stand also can be placed into the ground or can include a base on a bottom end of the post which allows the stand to be placed on the ground. The base may include one or more wheels to move the stand.

SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTABLY HANGING AN ITEM FROM A POLE
20230026472 · 2023-01-26 ·

A hanging system includes a bracket configured to adjustably mount at a pole and a rope extending through a pulley at the pole. The bracket includes a body defining a passageway and an arm extending from the body and including a hanging element. The passageway receives the pole. When the bracket is mounted at the pole, the rope is connected at a connecting element of the bracket, extends upward along the pole, through the pulley, and downward along a channel formed along the bracket. With no external force applied at the rope, an inner surface of the body engages the pole to, due to a frictional force between the bracket and pole, retain the bracket at a position along the pole. Responsive to an external force applied at the rope in the downward direction, the external force overcomes the frictional force and the bracket moves upward along the pole.

EXERCISE SYSTEM WITH TRANSLATABLE AND ROTATABLE DISPLAY

An exercise system including a tower and a translatable and rotatable display is disclosed. The tower is a free-standing unit and includes a mast that supports the display at a sufficient height or elevation, for example above a front panel of the system's housing. A carriage assembly couples the display to the mast to enable translation of the display between two positions, and the display mount is further configured to enable rotation of the display between a portrait orientation and an landscape orientation when the display is in the second position. In some embodiments, rotation of the display is substantially inhibited by the system's housing, for example the front panel, when the display is in the first position.

DISPLAY MOUNTING SYSTEM

A modular display support structure is described, the modular display support structure comprising: a substantially vertical structural member including at least one mounting flange, and a receiving recess, the recess extending parallel with, and for a substantial portion of, a longitudinal axis of the structural member; and a mounting member including an interface flange to mate with the receiving recess, and an attachment flange; wherein the attachment flange includes a plurality of attachment apertures for each of a plurality of display panels. A system and method are also described.
