METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STABILIZING A PAYLOAD
A carrier includes a stator configured to be coupled to a base support, a frame operably coupled to the stator via a plurality of piezoelectric actuators, and at least one inertial sensor attached to the frame. The stator includes a spherical surface. The frame is configured to rotate relative to the stator about one or more rotational axes. Rotation of the frame is effectuated via the plurality of piezoelectric actuators. The inertial sensor is configured to detect a motion of the frame.
Compact Electronic Device with Thermal Management
This application is directed to a passively-cooled electronic device including a housing, a plurality of electronic assemblies and a plurality of thermally conductive parts. The electronic assemblies are enclosed in the housing, and include a first electronic assembly and a second electronic assembly. The first and second electronic assemblies are disposed proximately to each other within the housing, and the second electronic assembly is substantially sensitive to heat, including heat generated by operation of the first electronic assembly. The thermally conductive parts are coupled between the first electronic assembly and the housing, and configured to create a first plurality of heat conduction paths to conduct the heat generated by the first electronic assembly away from the second electronic assembly without using a fan. At least a subset of the thermally conductive parts mechanically supports one or both of the first and second electronic assemblies.
ROTATION MECHANISM
A rotation mechanism having a positioning function includes a rotary base, a rotary set rotatably arranged on the rotary base, a securing set mounted on the rotary set for adjusting a spacing between the rotary set and the rotary base, and an elastic set mounted between the securing set and the rotary set and butted against by the securing set for providing an elastic force. The rotary case includes a fix pin extending from the rotary base and a first slide portion portion disposed on the rotary base and configured around the fix pin. The rotary set includes a second slide portion correspondingly engaged with the first slide portion, and a first opening used for receiving the fix pin and allowing the rotary set being rotated relative to the rotary base.
Method and system for stabilizing a payload
The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices related to the control and operation of a carrier for supporting a payload. In one aspect, a carrier may include: a stator configured to be coupled to a base support, wherein the stator include a spherical surface; and a frame operably coupled to the stator via a plurality of piezoelectric actuators, wherein the frame is configured to rotate relative to the stator about one or more rotational axes, and wherein the frame is configured to support a plurality of payloads in a manner that substantially balances a weight of the plurality of payloads relative to the stator.

TRANSPORTABLE RACK FOR PRESSURE SAFETY/RELIEF VALVES
A transportable valve rack for securing a plurality of pressure safety or pressure relief valves in an upright position. The valves of the type having a bolted flange-type connection and the rack comprises a base assembly and a top plate mounted on the base assembly. The top plate includes a plurality of areas, with each area comprising a plurality of holes arranged on a circumference of two or more concentric circles. The plurality of holes extends through the top plate and at least four holes are on the circumference of each concentric circle. The holes are sized and arranged to align with bolt holes of pre-selected flanges of particular size and pressure rating. Nuts and bolts extended through aligned holes secure the valve to the valve rack.
FRAME LIFTING MECHANISM FOR FITNESS EQUIPMENT
A frame lifting mechanism includes a base, a motor, a lead screw, a sliding member, a lifting member and a supporting shaft. The motor is connected to the lead screw, and the lead screw is fastened onto a transmission tube, allowing the transmission tube to move forward and backward while being driven by the lead screw. The sliding member is installed on a sliding track arranged on the base and connected to the transmission tube, allowing the sliding base to actuate with the transmission tube synchronously. A rear end of the lifting base is pivotally attached onto the base for support, and the supporting member uses its two top and bottom ends to be pivotally attached onto the lifting member and the sliding member respectively, allowing the supporting shaft to utilize the movement of the sliding member to drive the lifting member to move upward and downward.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR SUPPORTING AN ARTICLE
A mount for supportably engaging an article. The mount includes a bulbous member that may include a convexly shaped surface area. The convexly shaped surface area may be supportively contactable with a first interconnect portion of a carrier member. An attachment member that is operatively associable with a device may be removably engageable with a second interconnect portion of the carrier member. The carrier member may be moved throughout a continuum of positions defined by the convexly curved surface area of the bulbous member. Additionally, the bulbous member may be supportably engaged by a variety of embodiments of support structures for supporting or mounting the mount.
Portable system for taking photogrammetry images and related method
A lightweight, portable and configurable system for image acquisition for photogrammetry purposes includes a portable rig having at least two cameras supported thereon in spaced relation to one another. The cameras are angled towards one another and actuated in an automated fashion so as to capture images of an object at a minimum rate over time. At least a plurality of the captured images are used to digitally reconstruct three-dimensional geometry of the object.
Wire pressing and holding device for an extension arm support mechanism
A wire pressing and holding device is removably mounted on a first extension arm of an extension arm support mechanism to cover a channel thereof, and includes a cover plate, an engaging protrusion projecting from a first end of the cover plate to be inserted into an engaging recess of the arm to serve as a fulcrum such that a second end of the cover plate is turnable relative to the arm, and a releasably retaining member connected to the second end and configured to be displaceable relative to the second end between a retaining position to retainingly abut against the arm for pressing and holding a wire assembly in the channel, and a releasing position to be disengaged from the arm.
