Suspension arm
An apparatus comprising an arm with a depending hollow attachment housing, into which is inserted a corresponding attachment portion of a depending device. The housing and attachment portion both have corresponding openings which come into alignment when the attachment portion is inserted into the housing. The apparatus comprises a securing segment which passes through the aligned openings in the housing and attachment portion to prevent the vertical separation of the housing and attachment portion, and a sleeve which surrounds the housing and is vertically moveable between a first position wherein it exposes the openings and securing segment and a second position wherein it covers the securing segment thereby preventing the securing segment from becoming dislodged. The housing comprises a removable delimiter which reduces the allowable vertical movement of the sleeve so that its vertical movement is restricted so as to prevent the sleeve adopting its first position.
Pivoting support assembly
A pivoting support assembly with a selective position locking capability may comprise a base, a first support arm movable with respect to the base, a first pivot joint pivotally mounting the first support arm to the base, and a first position locking assembly configured to lock a selected position of the first support arm with respect to the base. The first position locking assembly may comprise a first hydraulic motor mounted on the first pivot joint and having a fluid input and a fluid output with a fluid path defined therebetween such that fluid movement on the fluid path between the fluid input and the fluid output operates the first hydraulic motor. The first position locking assembly may comprise a first lock valve in communication with the first hydraulic motor and configured to selectively block fluid movement through the fluid path of the motor.
BATTERY ASSEMBLY AND MEDICAL CAPSULE
An adjustment device and a medical system are for adjusting a medical device. The adjustment device includes a first connection portion for hoisting the adjustment device, a second connection portion is for connecting the medical device, and a locking mechanism. The first connection portion and the second connection portion are rotatably connected through the rotating shaft, so that the first connection portion and the second connection portion rotate relative to each other. The locking mechanism has a locked state and an unlocked state. In the unlocked state, the first connection portion and/or the second connection portion rotate relative to the rotating shaft, to adjust the medical device to a vertical position. In the locked state, the locking mechanism restricts the first connection portion and/or the second connection portion to rotate relative to the rotating shaft, to maintain the medical device in a vertical state.
BALL AND SOCKET JOINT
A ball and socket joint, including a pin located on either the socket or the ball and a groove located on the other of the socket or ball, the pin configured to engage the groove and translate along the length of the groove when the ball is located in the socket. An attachment surface for attaching a device to the ball and socket joint is also provided, and the pin and groove are arranged to prevent rotation of the ball about an axis that is parallel to the plane of the groove and extends through the attachment surface when the ball is located in the socket. A ball and socket joint includes a locking nut, the locking nut including a partly circular internal cross section and a second flat surface.
Mounting apparatus for portable electronic device
Described herein is a mounting apparatus, comprising a magnetic component, and a mount; wherein the magnetic component comprises one or more permanent magnet; wherein the mounting apparatus is configured to attach to a surface through a magnetic interaction between the magnetic component and a material that is ferromagnetic or ferromagnetic in the surface; wherein the mount comprises a plurality of clips which are configured to be mounted on an air vent in a vehicle. The mounting apparatus provides mounting of any appropriately sized electronic device in a vehicle, to allow convenient viewing and access to the device. The presently disclosed mounting apparatus also realizes a continuous rotation and continuous movement of the portable electronic device while it is held by the mounting apparatus, therefore facilitating user control of the device.
ARTICULATING ERGONOMIC SUPPORT ARM
An articulating support arm includes a base, a first set of control arms having proximal ends and distal ends, with the proximal ends of the first set of control arms being pivotally connected to the base. The support arm further includes a second set of control arms having proximal ends and distal ends, with the proximal ends of the second set of control arms being disposed forward of and pivotally connected to the distal ends of the first set of control arms. The distal ends of the second set of control arms also are pivotally connected to a control head, and a locking assembly selectively prevents pivotal movement of the control arms, so as to provide vertical adjustment of the control head relative to the base.
LOCKING RELEASE MECHANISM FOR AN ARTICULATED SUPPORT ARM
Various embodiments concern locking release mechanisms that allow an articulated support arm to be moved between various vertical orientations. A locking release mechanism may include a handle release mechanism positioned within the handle of the articulated support arm, and a gas spring release mechanism positioned within the body of the articulated support arm. The articulated support arm can include a gas spring that remains locked until the handle release mechanism is activated, e.g. by applying pressure to a grip actuator. Other embodiments concern cable management techniques for articulated support arms. Oftentimes, an articulated support arm will include cables routed through the arm that are configured to support an attachment. For example, the cable(s) may be adapted for audio signals, video signals, power, etc. The cable(s) can be readily cleaned and/or serviced when routed through an articulated support arm composed of one or more removable pieces.
X-RAY DETECTOR HOLDER STAND
An X-ray detector holder stand maintaining the position of a detector is proposed. A pillar erected on a base has a sliding window formed on the front surface of a pillar housing to extend upwards/downwards. A rack is fixed inside the pillar housing to extend perpendicularly. A wire is wound around multiple pulleys to extend perpendicularly to the front/rear side of the rack. A balance weight is coupled to the wire behind the rack inside the pillar housing. An arm includes a sliding block guided along the sliding window, a stopper gear coupled to the sliding block to rotate between a locking position and an unlocking position, an elastic pressurizing means for pressurizing the stopper gear to rotate to the locking position, and a lever means for rotating/operating the stopper gear to the unlocking position. A holder is coupled to an end portion of the arm to enable rotational manipulation.
ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
In one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a main body configured to generate an ultrasonic image; a body housing configured to house the main body; a display/operation panel configured to operate the main body and display the ultrasonic image; and a lifter on which the display/operation panel is placed, the lifter being attached to the body housing and configured to adjust height of the display/operation panel from a floor in each of an electric mode and a manual mode.
Supporting bracket with internal latching for angle adjustment
A bracket for supporting electronic devices includes first and second supporting arms, the first connecting arm defining a first connecting portion and the second connecting arm defining a second connecting portion. The first connecting portion and the second connecting portion can pivot around each other. Either the first connecting portion or the second connecting portion can define a positioning protrusion which is in use hidden, and the other can define a plurality of positioning grooves which are also hidden in use. The positioning protrusion being received in different positioning grooves renders the angle between the first supporting arm and the second supporting arm adjustable.
