Method And Apparatus For Spin Photography
Provided are a method and system for producing photographic images of an object about multiple axes, the method comprising: suspending the object; rotating the object around a first axis allowing multiple photographic images of the object to be captured about the first axis by an imaging device; and rotating the imaging device about the object around a second axis allowing multiple photographic images of the object to be captured about the second axis by the imaging device.
EXTENSIBLE MOBILE RECORDING DEVICE HOLDER
There is disclosed a substantially integrated, concealed, and discreet device for extending and holding a mobile recording device. A user of this holder device can unlock the mechanism, pull an extension arm segment which will pull past the body of the recording device so as to form a handle and extension and thereby allow the user to capture audio, video, and other images at a distance greater than if holding the mobile recording device directly in his or her hand. Thus an extensible mobile recording device holder is provided that allows for a compact and concealable mechanism and efficient deployment so that users can quickly and adequately capture images from more varied and greater perspectives.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING AND IDENTIFYING ARCING BASED ON NUMERICAL ANALYSIS
Method and system allowing more accurate detection and identification of unwanted arcing include novel processing of signal voltage representing recovered power-line current. In one implementation, arc-faults are detected based on numerical analysis where individual cycles of line voltage and current are observed and data collected during each cycle is processed to estimate likelihood of presence of arc-event within each individual cycle based on pre-defined number of arc-events occurring within pre-defined number of contiguous cycles. In another implementation, fast transient current spikes detection can be done by: computing difference values between consecutive line-current samples collected over a cycle, average of differences, and peak-to-peak value of line-current; comparing each difference value to average of difference; comparing each difference value to peak-to-peak value; and, based on calculation of composite of two comparisons, using thresholds to determine if arcing is present within processed cycle.
Display device and method for controlling the same
A display device includes a main body provided with a display module on which an image is displayed, a bending module located at a center of a rear surface of the main body, and a controller. The controller includes controlling the bending module to change a curvature of the display module to any one of a flat mode in which the display module is flat, a first bending mode in which the display module has a first curvature, and a second bending mode in which the display module has a second curvature. Here, the second curvature is a maximum curvature of the display module. The controller further includes switching the display module to any one of the flat mode, the first bending mode, and the second bending mode based on a distance to a remote controller.
Display positioning apparatus and method
An apparatus for positioning an electronic display can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases, the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position.
Furniture base assembled from several parts
The invention is directed to a base for pieces of furniture having at least one supporting column structure. The base comprises a central hub receiving the lower end of a column and a number of arms radiating from the hub. The object of the invention is to provide a furniture base which allows varying its height. This is accomplished by changing the angle between hub and arms, or by shifting the points of attachment of the arms on the hub in the vertical direction.
Electronic device and external structure configured to attach to or detach from the electronic device
Provided is an external structure configured to be attached to or detached from an electronic device having a concave portion formed on a surface of a housing, and a connection connector provided in a position of the concave portion receding from the surface of the housing, the concave portion having a cross-sectional shape enabling locking of the external structure, the external structure including a first fitting unit configured to be fitted to the connection connector.
ADJUSTABLE BRACKET FOR DISPLAY DEVICE
The invention relates to an adjustable bracket for a display device. The adjustable bracket includes a mounting seat for being fixed to an object surface, a pylon for mounting the display device, and a connecting arm with two ends being rotatably connected to the mounting seat and the pylon, respectively. The mounting seat is provided with a lifting means and an adjusting mechanism for adjusting a retraction state of the pylon therein. The bracket is suitable for a variety of display devices of various specifications, and the pylon is adjustable in three dimensions relative to the mounting seat, thereby meeting the use requirements. The power structure is built to protect itself and to avoid safety hazards. A user can adjust the position of the pylon relative to the mounting seat by pulling and pushing, and the installation and debugging operation is simple, and an overall thickness of the bracket is small when the pylon and the mounting seat are closed up, and the storage space occupied by the bracket is small. The setting of the adjusting mechanism solves the problem of premature failure of a boosting unit caused by over-reliance on its own strength.
LOCKING RELEASE MECHANISM FOR AN ARTICULATED SUPPORT ARM
Various embodiments concern locking release mechanisms that allow an articulated support arm to be moved between various vertical orientations. A locking release mechanism may include a handle release mechanism positioned within the handle of the articulated support arm, and a gas spring release mechanism positioned within the body of the articulated support arm. The articulated support arm can include a gas spring that remains locked until the handle release mechanism is activated, e.g. by applying pressure to a grip actuator. Other embodiments concern cable management techniques for articulated support arms. Oftentimes, an articulated support arm will include cables routed through the arm that are configured to support an attachment. For example, the cable(s) may be adapted for audio signals, video signals, power, etc. The cable(s) can be readily cleaned and/or serviced when routed through an articulated support arm composed of one or more removable pieces.
Adjustable tablet arm with one-handed release mechanism
A position- and length-adjustable arm (10) for supporting a tablet computer or other electronic device that is capable of numerous adjustments as desired by the user, and that includes a magnetic tablet attachment assembly (32) that permits the user to remove the tablet computer from the tablet arm with one hand.
