Baler for recycled materials
Baler devices, systems, and methods are shown and described. In one embodiment, the device includes an access door that is generally repositionable about a maintenance opening in a compression chamber. A chamber maintenance assembly may include a repositionable chamber access door, a pair of opposing hydraulic actuators, and a pair of extension arms connecting the access door and the hydraulic actuators. The result is devices, systems, and methods to provide improved access to the compression chamber to attend to jamming maintenance.

Laser security interlocking device and corresponding method
The disclosed technology provides a laser security interlocking device and a corresponding method. In one aspect, an example laser security interlocking device includes a housing, a laser capable of emitting laser light in the housing and a laser light-emitting interlocking circuit, with the housing including a door capable of being opened or closed. When the door is closed, the housing can define an enclosed space within which the laser is positioned. The laser light-emitting interlocking circuit is configured to control the laser security interlocking device to automatically stop the laser emitting laser light before or while the door is opened.
Container/Lid/Blender Interlock
An interlocking method and blending apparatus is provided which includes a base, container, and lid. The apparatus comprises light emitters, light sensors, and light reflectors. Light is emitted by the light emitters from the base, through the container, and toward the lid. Light reflectors in the lid reflect the light back through the container and toward the base. The light sensors detect the reflected light and can be used to control operation of the blender and illumination of the container. Light may be in the visible spectrum, or sub-visible spectrum. The light emitters and light sensors may be at the base and/or the bottom of the container.

Safety Switch
A safety switch (1) having a reading head (2) and an actuator (3) having a transponder (4) and being movable relative to the reading head (2). Encoded signals of the transponder (4) are detectable by means of the reading head (2). As a means for detecting encoded signals, the reading head (2) has a resonant circuit (6) controlled by a processor unit, with the distance between the actuator (3) and reading head (2) being determined by means of an amplitude evaluation of the signals of the transponder (4) detected with the resonant circuit (6). Control signals are generated as a function of the distance signals thus determined.

SAFETY DEVICE
The present invention relates to a safety device for securing a machine having a sensor that is configured to detect the presence of an object in a monitored zone and to output a detection signal when an object is located in the monitored zone and having an evaluation unit that is configured to receive the detection signal from the senor and to generate an output signal in dependence on the detection signal. Provision is made in accordance with the invention that the evaluation unit is adapted furthermore to generate the output signal in dependence on at least one additional criterion.
