SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AND STORING METHANE GAS USING RENEWABLE SOURCES
Systems and methods provide a self-contained sealed apparatus that captures, filters, compresses and stores methane gas produced by the decomposition of bio-degradable organic materials. The system includes a rotatable and sealable chamber with an intermittent drive unit that mixes moist bio-degradable material during an anaerobic reaction, and captures methane gas generated by anaerobic decomposition. A filter to remove impurities, a low-pressure storage tank, a compressor and a high-pressure storage tank are interconnected and controlled by a system that monitors system parameters, that may include gas flow rate, temperature, and gas volume, and controls system parameters, that may include drive unit activation, generator operation, and compressor operation.
Fluid storage tank with plurality of partition plates
A fluid storage tank according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first outer wall section that forms a front face in the length direction, the width direction and the height direction so as to form a space portion in which a fluid is stored; a plurality of partition plates arranged along the length direction of the first outer wall portion to divide the space portion into the plurality of sub-space portions; and an end portion located between the outermost partition plate of the plurality of partition plates and the first outer wall portion, wherein each of the partition plates is formed with a fluid through hole comprising: a gas through hole located on the top of the partition plate; and a liquid through hole located on the bottom of the partition plate so that fluids between the sub-pace portions are in communication with each other.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORAGE OF LIQUID HYDROGEN AT LOW PRESSURE
A cryogenic liquid storage system is provided that includes a primary container, an insulation portion, a secondary container, and a pressure release feature. The primary container includes a metal sidewall and a metal dome. Alternatively, the primary container may be constructed out of composite material. The primary container may be configured to retain liquid hydrogen. The insulation portion covers the primary container. The secondary container includes a composite material that covers each of the primary container and the insulation portion. The pressure release feature is disposed through each of the primary container dome, the insulation portion, and the secondary container dome.

ELEVATING APPARATUS, PUMP CARRYING-IN METHOD, PUMP PULLING-UP METHOD
An elevating apparatus that can eliminate a need for a permanently installed large hoist is provided. The elevating apparatus is used to elevate and lower a submersible pump in a pump column. The submersible pump is used for delivering liquefied gas. The elevating apparatus includes a cable including multiple split cables and multiple coupling links configured to detachably couple the multiple split cables to each other; and a take-up device coupled to the cable.
TANK AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING DIKE
In an LNG tank, a dike is formed by arranging precast blocks in the circumferential direction and layering the precast blocks in the vertical direction. Each of the precast blocks has loop joints on the top, bottom, left, and right side faces, and concrete is deposited between each two precast blocks adjacent in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction, whereby masonry joints are formed in the vertical direction and the circumferential direction. Prestress is imparted to the dike by PC steel members. The PC steel members are provided in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction of the dike, and are arranged so as to avoid the masonry joints in the circumferential direction and the vertical direction. Therefore, it is possible to construct the dike in a short time, and it is possible to provide a tank or the like that can reduce the construction period.
Above-ground low-temperature tank
An above-ground low-temperature tank includes a metal inner tank which stores low-temperature liquefied gas, and an outer tank which includes a concrete outer wall surrounding the inner tank. A hole portion which has a preset depth from a bottom surface of the inner tank is formed on a bottom portion of the inner tank, and a metal pit main body having a cylindrical bottomed accommodating portion is provided in a state where the accommodating portion is accommodated in the hole portion. A reinforcing body which supports at least an outer circumferential edge portion of a bottom surface of the pit main body is provided on the bottom surface side of the pit main body in the hole portion. A cold insulation material is provided below the reinforcing body.
Gas Blanketing System for Low-Pressure Hydrocarbon Tanks
A hydrocarbon tank system environment corrosion inhibitor includes use of inert gas, preferably Nitrogen, to blanket ullage and interstice through the tank system. Blanket gas is provided via controller into coupling to access ullage. Blanket gas is provided upon fueling events to stabilize the pressure in the system and prevent entry of atmospheric air and water (vapor). Blanket gas may be continuously run into the ullage and/or other spaces in tank system. A controlled system allows for monitoring of pressures in the tank, and thereby identifies pressure events and even leaks in system due to unusual events, or general loss of pressure.
CONNECTION FOR REFRIGERATED GAS STORAGE TANK
A storage tank includes a tank roof and a tank sidewall. At least one opening is located in in at least one of the tank roof or the tank sidewall. A pipe extends through the at least one opening, the pipe having a sleeve assembly positioned around the pipe. The sleeve assembly also extends through the opening. The sleeve assembly includes a sleeve, at least one layer of insulation, and an inner flange. The inner flange is located on a first end of the sleeve and is coupled to the pipe. The sleeve, in turn is coupled to the tank such that the inner flange is located within the storage tank. The at least one layer of insulation is positioned in an annulus between the pipe and the sleeve.
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SHIP ENGINE
Disclosed are a fuel supply system and method for a ship engine. The fuel supply system for a ship engine of the present invention comprises: a submersible pump which is provided to an LNG storage tank of a ship for supplying LNG to the engine of the ship; a high-pressure pump which has the LNG supplied thereto from the submersible pump and pressurizes the same under high pressure; and a return flow channel which, at the upstream of the high-pressure pump, returns the LNG to the LNG storage tank, wherein the flow of the LNG returning through the return flow channel is controlled, and the temperature of the LNG is controlled at the front end of the high-pressure pump.
