Method for measuring the quantity of gas introduced into a reservoir and filling station
A quantity of gas is introduced into a gas reservoir via a filling station provided with a filling line. The quantity is measured. A signal is generated indicating a corrected quantity of transferred gas. The signal is obtained by adding a predetermined, positive or negative, corrective amount to the measured quantity of gas transferred.

A computer-implemented method of supplying a fuel gas to a fueling system is disclosed. The method may include pre-fill inerting the fueling system; leak-checking the fueling system; charging a pilot subsystem with the fuel gas; filling the fueling system with the fuel gas; and post-fill inerting the fueling system. In many implementations, the fueling system may be associated with a boat. The fuel gas may be hydrogen and may be supplied to a fuel cell that converts the hydrogen to electrical energy to power a propulsion system of the boat.

Provided are a method and apparatus for calculating a volume of a compressed gas storage vessel, a computer, and a medium. According to the method, three test vessels with known volume and initial pressure are used to establish a pressure equilibrium with a compressed gas storage system, and pressure values in three equilibrium states are respectively detected. In this way, according to the three pressure values and the known volumes and initial pressures, a volume of the compressed gas storage system, a volume of a hose, and a pressure value of the compressed gas storage system in an initial state can be quickly and accurately calculated. By accurately obtaining the volume of the compressed gas storage system, the volume of the hose, and the pressure value of the compressed gas storage system in the initial state, a refueling rate can be increased as much as possible while ensuring safe refueling.

The present invention relates to a method for improving stability of a hydrogen gaseous dispensing system. An example of such system is hydrogen powered vehicle fuel filling station. Vehicle is filled by multiple high pressure gaseous hydrogen tubes, usually one tube at a time. For safety and reliability reasons a control requirement for such system is to be able to deliver the hydrogen at constant rate to the fuel tank so that its rate of pressure increase stays constant during entire filling process. A dual pressure regulator arrangement is proposed to better maintain flow continuity and/or pressure during tube switching.

A waste hydrogen recovery device of an evaluation device of a hydrogen refueling station includes: a buffer container connected to a discharge pipeline of the evaluation device; a flow path switching valve installed at a hydrogen supply side of the hydrogen refueling station and installed to selectively form a flow path flowing hydrogen from one of a hydrogen supply source or the buffer container into the hydrogen refueling station; and a controller provided to control a tank protection valve installed between an inflow pipeline and a discharge pipeline of the evaluation device, and the controller further provided to control a hydrogen tank, a discharge valve installed on the discharge pipeline, the flow path switching valve, and a compressor of the hydrogen refueling station.
System and method for pre-cooling fuel dispenser
A system for dispensing a gaseous fuel from a liquefied fuel and a method for operating such a system are provided. The system includes a storage tank, a pressure sensor, a dispenser, a temperature sensor, and a vapor supply unit. The storage tank stores a liquefied fuel including phases of liquid and vapor. The pressure sensor is configured to measure a vapor pressure inside the storage tank. The dispenser is configured to receive the liquefied fuel and dispense the gaseous fuel to a receiving tank. The temperature sensor is configured to measure temperature of the dispenser. The system further includes a vapor supply unit fluidly coupled with the storage tank and configured to provide the vapor of the liquefied fuel from the storage tank into the dispenser or in thermally contact with at least one portion of the dispenser.

Disclosed is a machine learning energy management system that regulates incoming energy sources into compressed air storage operations and energy generation. Compressed air is directed into a thermoregulation system that cycles storage tanks according to physical qualities. A boost impulse creates energy to initiate the electrical energy generation. The compressed air operations and energy generation leverage the heating and cooling of an external HVAC system to improve performance and conservation of the heating and cooling for an external building, wherein compressed air is used to drive a coolant compressor. The system combines real-time data, historical performance data, algorithm control, variable air pressure for demand-based generation, tank-to-tank thermal cycling, building air heat exchanger, and boost pulsation to achieve optimized system efficiency and responsiveness.
HYDROGEN REFUELING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HYDROGEN REFUELING
This invention can provide a hydrogen refueling system capable to reduce waiting time for refueling H.sub.2 to vehicles. The system is designed and operated to acquire the residual pressure in the vehicle the that connects to the dispenser, then to calculate sufficient conditions to perform complete refueling of the connected vehicle (in particular minimum pressure in buffers), and then to start H.sub.2 transfer to the vehicle as soon as the conditions are met. Waiting time can be further reduced with minimum investment by having a H.sub.2 dispenser with two H.sub.2 refueling hoses which has only one H.sub.2 flow control valve and/or only one H.sub.2 cooling heat exchanger and/or only one H.sub.2 flow metering system.
Submerged multi-mode cryopump for refueling hydrogen, system having the same, and method of using the same
A system and a method for dispensing a liquefied fuel (e.g., hydrogen) are provided. The system includes a cryotank for storing a liquefied fuel, a pump insertable into the cryotank, and a switching valve. The pump has a piston, an intake port, and an isolation valve configured to supply the liquefied fuel to the intake port. The switching valve is controlled to flow the vapor from the pump and the liquefied fuel contacting a backside of the piston to the intake port of the pump. At least one block valve is also connected with the cryotank and the pump. At least one of the switching valve, the at least one block valve, and the isolation valve can be controlled to operate the system in one of three working modes including a pressure increase mode, a pressure maintaining mode, and a pressure decrease mode.
