Disclosed herein is an attachment system, for providing a component mounting location, that comprises a laminated structure and a bracket. The bracket comprises an interface surface configured to interface with a first side of the structure, and a through hole open at the interface surface. A shear stud of the attachment system comprises a projection, shaped to pass through the hole of the structure and engage the through hole of the bracket, and a seal region, positioned to interface with a second side of the structure to form a seal with the second side of the structure. The attachment system additionally comprises a fastener comprising a head and a shaft, the shaft being shaped to pass through the through hole in the bracket and engage the shear stud to secure the shear stud relative to the bracket thereby reducing shear at the fastener.

Dewar Vessel Storage Apparatus

A dewar vessel storage apparatus configured to hold at least two dewar vessels containing liquefied gas or cryo-compressed gas, comprising; a box having an outer, thermally insulating, wall; the box comprising a plurality of insulating cavities, each cavity configured to receive a single dewar vessel and is thermally insulated from each other cavity; a thermally insulating closure arrangement configured to close an open end of each cavity; a ventilation assembly comprising at least one conduit within the box configured to provide for venting of gas released from the dewar vessels when stored in the respective cavities of the box, the ventilation assembly configured to provide a gas outlet flow path from each cavity.

APPARATUS FOR TREATING LIQUID TO BE ANALYZED

An apparatus for analyzing the content of at least one contaminant in a liquid cryogen comprising a cylindrical enclosure, an annular enclosure arranged around the cylindrical enclosure, means for dividing a flow of liquid cryogen in two, means for delivering a first part of the liquid cryogen to the cylindrical enclosure, means for delivering a second part of the liquid cryogen to the annular enclosure, a pipe connected to the cylindrical enclosure to allow vaporized liquid to pass through, a pipe connected to the annular enclosure to allow vaporized liquid to pass through, a heater for heating the cylindrical enclosure vessel and means for stopping the delivery of liquid cryogen to the cylindrical enclosure.

METHOD FOR ANALYZING TRACES OF CONTAMINANTS OF A CRYOGENIC LIQUID

The invention relates to a method for analyzing the content of at least one contaminant in a cryogenic liquid, wherein a known amount of liquid L constituting the initial liquid is injected at the pressure P into an enclosure; a predetermined fraction of the liquid present in the enclosure is vaporized by heating same; the vapor thus generated is discharged from the vaporizing enclosure to maintain a pressure no higher than the pressure P during the vaporization phase; the amount of liquid thus vaporized, less than L, is precisely controlled so that the amount of contaminant in the residual liquid present in the enclosure is substantially equal to that of the initial liquid, which implies that the concentration thereof is multiplied by a previously determined factor; a sample of residual liquid is collected; the contaminant content is measured after total vaporization of the residual liquid sample; and the contaminant content in the initial liquid is deduced from the measurement of contaminant in the residual liquid.

A low vibration cryostat includes a cryocooler with a cold head having a flange and a cooling body extending from the flange. A housing is coupled to the cold head, with the housing having an opening receiving at least a portion of the cooling body. A first bellows extends between the housing and the flange to mitigate the transfer of vibrational forces between the housing and the flange. The first bellows, the flange, and the housing collectively define a first chamber. A force balancing assembly containing a second bellows is coupled to the housing and includes a second chamber spaced from the first chamber. The two chambers are arranged to create a net zero force on the cold head when the pressure in the bellows changes. A viscous damping assembly mitigates bouncing of the cold head on support springs.
