METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRESSURE CONTAINER AND PRESSURE CONTAINER
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a pressure vessel and to a corresponding pressure vessel. The invention proposes a manufacturing method for a pressure vessel where first a pressure vessel blank having at least one liner type 4 and a cylindrical pipe operatively connected to it is manufactured and subsequently, for instance, a fibre composite material is wrapped onto the pressure vessel blank.
HIGH-PRESSURE GAS STORAGE SYSTEM HAVING ADAPTABLE MORPHOLOGY
The invention relates to a device basically consisting of the packaging of matrices of parallel tubes that act as pressurised containers. Both ends of each tube are hermetically connected to collectors located in the vicinity of the ends of the tubes. The collectors have multiple accommodations distributed according to the packing pattern of the tube matrix, there being an accommodation for each tube end. At least one collector has an internal channel that allows the connection of fluids between the tubes forming the tube matrix. This collector has an opening that allows fluid exchange between the inside of the tubes and the outside. The assembly comprising the tube matrix and collectors is surrounded by a structural belt. The collectors have a rounded geometry in the area of contact with the belt. Reinforcement fibres of the belt are mainly arranged parallel to the axis of the tubes. Reinforcement fibres of the tubes are mainly arranged in the circumferential direction of same. Those areas of the assembly comprising the tube matrix and collectors not covered by the belt are covered by casings. A rigid foam occupies the spaces between the outside of the tubes and the rest of the space inside the belts and the casings.
Pressurized-Container Arrangement
A pressure container arrangement includes a plurality of pressure containers, a number of safety valves, and a number of connection lines. The plurality of pressure containers are connected in fluid terms by the number of connection lines. At least one of the number of safety valves is disposed between a respective two of the plurality of pressure containers which are connected to each other. The number of safety valves are constructed to close from a predetermined maximum throughflow and/or from a predetermined maximum pressure difference.
Pressure vessel manufacturing method
Provided is a high-pressure vessel manufacturing method including: molding a liner having a pleated part; forming a fiber-reinforced part on an outer circumferential side of the liner; curving the liner and the fiber-reinforced part; and pressurizing and heating the liner and the fiber-reinforced part. In the molding the liner, the height of first pleats of the pleated part that are disposed on the inner side of the curve relative to an axis is set to be smaller than a height of second pleats of the pleated part that are disposed on the outer side of the curve relative to the axis.
GAS STORAGE SYSTEM
A portable subsea storage tank for the storage of gas products under pressure or oil products consisting of pipeline sections in an array which can be coated in specialist coatings and recovered for inspection and re-use. A method of self-installing the subsea storage tank is also described.
CONTAINERS FOR RETAINING ANESTHETIC AGENT AND MANUFACTURING METHODS THEREOF
A method for making a container for retaining anesthetic agent. The method includes creating two or more parts each having a mating surface, where the container is formed when the mating surfaces of the two or more parts are coupled together, and where a first part of the two or more parts is formed of a material having pores defined within the mating surface thereof. The method further includes processing the mating surface of the first part via friction stir welding to reduce the pores defined therein. The method further includes coupling the two or more parts together such that the mating surfaces contact to create the container configured to retain the anesthetic agent therein.
PRESSURE VESSEL FOR HYDROGEN AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention provides a pressure vessel for hydrogen in which the development of cracking in the pressure vessel for hydrogen can be effectively inhibited and that is excellent in terms of safety, reliability, and durability. The present invention pertains to a pressure vessel for hydrogen in which a plastic region is present on the inner face side of a hydrogen pressure vessel main body, an elastic region is present on the outer face side, and compressive residual stress is generated on the inner face, wherein preferably: the equivalent plastic strain remaining on the inner surface of the hydrogen pressure vessel main body is 1% or below; the plastic region on the inner face side measures 50% or less of the wall thickness in the radial direction of the hydrogen pressure vessel main body; and the steel used has a tensile strength of at least 725 MPa.
Innovative thermal management approaches of conformable tanks
A storage vessel includes a plurality of storage cells arranged in series. The storage vessel defines a first port that opens into at least one of the storage cells. A fill conduit is connected to the storage vessel at the port. A valve is connected with the fill conduit and is configured to control a supply of fluid through the fill conduit to fill the storage vessel. A heat sink is disposed in the storage vessel and is configured to reduce heat of the fluid during the fill of the storage vessel.
Vehicle Having A Storage Assembly For Storing And Dispensing A Pressurised Gas, And Storage Assembly For A Vehicle
The present disclosure provides a vehicle having a storage assembly for storing and dispensing a pressurized gas. The storage assembly includes a first storage cylinder section and a second storage cylinder section that each have multiple storage cylinders arranged longitudinally parallel to one another in a first layer and at least in a second layer. The storage cylinders are fluidically connected to one another in a meandering manner by a plurality storage cylinder loops. Each of the storage cylinder loops is connected to an axial end of a storage cylinder disposed in the first layer and an axial end of a storage cylinder disposed in the second layer. The storage assembly includes a cross member frictionally connected to the body of the vehicle and arranged in an interstice defined between the first and second storage cylinder sections.
Systems and methods for liner braiding and resin application
A method of making a tank for storing fluid that includes generating a resinated braid layer on an elongated liner having a plurality of successively alternating rigid and flexible portions along the length of the liner. Generating the resinated braid layer on the liner includes feeding the liner into a braiding machine and applying resin to a plurality of fibers during a braiding process to generate a resinated plurality of fibers and generating, over a length of the liner, by the braiding machine, the resinated braid layer defined by the resinated plurality of fibers.
