Nitric oxide delivery device
A nitric oxide delivery device including a valve assembly, a control module and a gas delivery mechanism is described. An exemplary gas delivery device includes a valve assembly with a valve and circuit including a memory, a processor and a transceiver in communication with the memory. The memory may include gas data such as gas identification, gas expiration and gas concentration. The transceiver on the circuit of the valve assembly may send wireless optical line-of-sight signals to communicate the gas data to a control module. Exemplary gas delivery mechanisms include a ventilator and a breathing circuit. Methods of administering gases containing nitric oxide are also described.
Authentication of replaceable fuel cartridge
The within disclosure provides devices, methods and systems for use in authenticating hydrogen fuel tanks or cartridges utilizing unique identifier elements, physical conformations and combinations of same. A user may place a hydrogen cartridge with a hollow body and a shaped body and/or dispensing end in a carriage having a fluid communication means and said fluid communication means matching said shaped body and/or dispensing end, whereby a tank mating to the carriage is limited to matching shaped cartridge and carriage.
HYBRID PRESSURE VESSEL WITH PLASTIC LINER
The innovation described herein generally pertains to a system and method related to a pressure vessel including a tank formed of an injected tank liner with co-injected boss and permeation barrier film surrounded by a layer of thermoplastic composite filament winding and a protective jacket disposed thereon that facilitates stacking and portability of the pressure vessel and provides an air passage for convective heat transfer between the tank and the environment.
SMART PACKAGE
A fluid supply package is described, which includes a fluid storage and dispensing vessel, and a fluid dispensing assembly coupled to the vessel and configured to enable discharge of fluid from the vessel under dispensing conditions, wherein the fluid supply package includes an informational augmentation device thereon, e.g., at least one of a quick read (QR) code and an RFID tag, for informational augmentation of the package. Process systems are described including process tools and one or more fluid supply packages of the foregoing type, wherein the process tool is configured for communicative interaction with the fluid supply package(s). Various communicative arrangements are described, which are usefully employed to enhance the efficiency and operation of process systems in which fluid supply packages of the foregoing type are employed.

A CYLINDER
A cylinder is provided in which fluid fuels are stored. The cylinder has at least one body in which a fluid fuel is stored; at least one valve located on the body for conveying fluid fuel into or from the body; at least one handle located on the body; at least one collar connecting the said handle to the body; at least one cover on the valve; at least one identifier located at the inner side of the collar and having thereon at least a first visual code specific to the cylinder it is connected; and at least a second visual code on the cover.
Pressure regulator with identification device
A pressure regulator for installing in a fluid flow system. The pressure regulator comprises a body and an identification device coupled to the body. The identification device has a first portion with first identification information and a second portion with second identification information. The second portion of the identification device is separated from the pressure regulator while the first portion of the identification device remains coupled to the pressure regulator. The second portion of the identification device is then affixed to a surface, such as a form.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FILLING THERMALLY INSULATED CONTAINERS WITH LIQUID CARBON DIOXIDE
The present invention relates to a method, as well as a system, for filling a container with an amount of liquid carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) which is partially converted into an amount of solid CO.sub.2 into said container, for the purpose of maintaining one or more products, loaded into said container, at a defined temperature, below a defined temperature, or within a defined temperature range, which temperature or temperature range is below environmental temperature. The invention further relates to a method and a system for providing identification and traceability data determining the container and its loaded one or more products, and for enabling the identification of said container during transport to a particular destination.
Fluid filling systems and methods
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for refilling fluid containers. A fluid container may include a bottle and a valve assembly. The valve assembly may include two valves and be configured to engage with the bottle and a filling head or dispensing head. A system is configured to provide pressurized fluid to the refillable container, monitor filling, determine when to stop filling, and determine how much fluid was provided. The valve assembly may include a float mechanism coupled to one of the valves of the valve assembly to ensure fluid flow is stopped when the fluid container is full. The fluid, which can include carbon dioxide, is stored in a storage tank. A flow system provides the fluid to a filling head, which engages with the fluid container. The flow system includes a transfer pump, valves, and sensors configured to provide the fluid to the filling head.
Cryogenic Cylinder
A cryogenic cylinder including authenticating features and an apparatus recognizing the features and facilitation the cylinder use. The authenticating features prevent use of an unauthorized cryogenic cylinders. The cylinder also includes a number of mechanical features preventing repeat filling of the cylinder by cryogenic fluid or reuse of the cylinder once empty.
