LIQUID NATURAL GAS PROCESSING WITH HYDROGEN PRODUCTION
Devices, systems, and methods for liquefied natural gas production facilities are disclosed herein. A liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility includes a liquefaction unit, a gas turbine, and a hydrogen generation unit. The liquefaction unit condenses natural gas vapor into liquefied natural gas. The hydrogen generation unit generates hydrogen. At least a portion of the hydrogen formed in the hydrogen generation unit is combusted, along with hydrocarbons, as fuel in the gas turbine.
CARBONATION MACHINE AND A GAS CANISTER FOR A CARBONATION MACHINE
A carbonation machine may include a carbonation head, a holder that is configured to hold a gas canister, the holder comprising a connector with a socket configured to enable linear insertion of a valve of the canister into the socket, the socket including a seal with at least one lateral opening to enable fluidic flow between one or more laterally oriented ports of the valve and a conduit of the holder while preventing leakage of gas from the fluidic flow, and a holding mechanism configured to hold a lateral projection from the canister after insertion of the valve into the socket such that the valve remains in the socket, and an activation mechanism configured to operate the valve to release the gas from the canister when inserted into the socket so as to enable the gas to flow via the conduit to the carbonation head
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BACKHAUL TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUEFIED GAS AND CO2 USING LIQUEFIED GAS CARRIERS
Embodiments of systems and methods for transporting liquefied gas and carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) in a dual-fluid vessel thereby minimizing transportation between locations are disclosed. In an embodiment, the dual-fluid vessel has an outer shell with an outer surface, an outer compartment within the outer shell configured to store liquefied gas, a bladder positioned within the outer compartment configured to store CO.sub.2, and insulation positioned between the outer shell and the outer compartment to provide temperature regulation for the liquefied gas when positioned in the outer compartment and CO.sub.2 in the bladder.
CONNECTION DEVICE FOR A GAS PRESSURE CHAMBER
In a connection device for coupling a gas pressure container provided with a connection coupling there is provided a guide device which is pivotable about a pivot axis between first and second pivoted positions, wherein the guide device includes an opening for inserting the gas pressure container in an insertion direction extending radially with respect to the pivot axis. A plug nipple is rigidly arranged on the connection device and projects into an inner region of the guide device such that the longitudinal axis of the nipple extends radially relative to the pivot axis and is situated parallel to the insertion direction in the first pivoted position of the guide device. The gas pressure container possesses a connection coupling with a rotationally symmetrical valve body having a coupling opening for receiving the plug nipple. The valve body is mounted within a coupling housing for rotation about an axis of rotation extending perpendicularly to the center axis of the coupling opening and has its outer circumferential surface sealingly mounted to an inner wall of the coupling housing. An outlet bore in the valve body communicates with the coupling opening and, in a second rotational position of the valve body, is in fluidic connection with the pressure container.
Mobile CO2 filling system for filling onsite CO2 storage and dispensing systems with CO2
A mobile CO2 filling system selectively fills onsite CO2 storage and dispensing systems with CO2. The system includes a mobile platform; a tank holding liquid CO2 mounted on the mobile platform; a flexible dispensing hose couple to the tank and configured to be selectively coupled to the filling inlet of an onsite CO2 storage and dispensing system; a pump selectively coupled to the tank; and a controller for controlling the filling of an onsite CO2 storage and dispensing systems with CO2 from the tank, wherein the controller is selectively designated by the user to operate in at least one pump assisted filling state and at least one gravity feed filling state.
Valve and reservoir system for airsoft gun
An air reservoir system is provided that includes a switchable valve to direct input air to an air reservoir, or stored air in the air reservoir to a firing pathway. Various example embodiments of the present general inventive concept may also include an air-saver system to maintain a minimum air pressure in the air reservoir during a firing operation.
Valve
A valve comprising a first chamber (111) and a second chamber (112), wherein a movable member (204) is arranged to selectably bring the first and second chambers into and out of fluid communication with one another, the movable member arranged such that when in an open position wherein the first and second chambers are in fluid communication, gas at a first pressure in the first chamber provides a closing force to a first surface area (222) of the movable member to overcome an opening force provided by gas at a second pressure in the second chamber on a second surface area (223) of the movable member whereby the movable member moves to a closed position to isolate the first and second chambers, and further arranged wherein as the movable member moves to the closed position, the second surface area of the movable member exposed within the second chamber is reduced thus reducing the opening force provided by the gas at the second pressure and providing a bias towards the closed position.
HP GAS SUPPLY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A gas supply system for providing high pressure (HP) gas to a low pressure (LP) gas destination, having a primary HP gas unit and a reserve HP gas unit, which provide regulated lower-pressure gas to a supply manifold, and an LP destination regulator that provides an LP regulated gas supply to a consumption subsystem. A one-way flow valve in fluid communication from the primary HP gas unit to the reserve HP gas unit, ensures that the reserve HP gas unit remains substantially full, even after numerous cycles of depletion and replacement of the primary HP gas unit, during which the HP supply is provided by the reserve HP gas unit, which helps to avoid the risk that the reserve tank pressure and supply might mistakenly, unexpectedly or unintentionally be depleted
Process and method for transporting liquid hydrocarbon and CO.SUB.2 .for producing hydrogen with CO.SUB.2 .capture
Systems and methods related to loading and unloading stations for simultaneous unloading of a first fluid from at least one storage tank in a vessel and loading of a second fluid into a storage tank of the same vessel are provided. In at least one aspect, a loading and unloading station includes a first connector for fluid connection to a storage tank of the vessel for unloading the first fluid, and a source of the second fluid. The station also includes a second connector for fluidly connecting the source of the second fluid with a storage tank of the vessel for loading the second fluid. The station further includes a first thermal linkage between the first fluid being unloaded and the second fluid being loaded that facilitates heat transfer between the first fluid and the second fluid at the loading and unloading station.
