Low volatility, high efficiency gas barrier coating for cryo-compressed hydrogen tanks
A bilayer object consisting of a carbon fiber reinforced polymer substrate coated with a composition of matter comprising horizontally aligned exfoliated graphene sheets dispersed in an epoxy binder. A method includes depositing graphene into a hardener, mixing the hardener and the graphene to produce a homogenous composite mixture, adding a resin material to the composite mixture to produce an epoxy graphene material, coating a structure with the epoxy graphene material, aligning the graphene sheets in the in-plane orientation, and curing the epoxy graphene material.
Cylinder regulator guard lifting arrangement
There is provided a guard structure for a gas cylinder assembly, the gas cylinder assembly comprising a gas cylinder body and a valve, the gas cylinder body including a base and a neck to which a proximal end of the valve is connected in use, the guard structure being securable to the gas cylinder assembly and comprising a guard body arranged, in use, to surround the valve, wherein the guard body further comprises a dependent lip extending around substantially the entire perimeter of the guard body, the dependent lip being located and arranged to be graspable by at least one user to enable the gas cylinder assembly to be lifted and/or maneuvered.
Carbonation machine and a gas canister for a carbonation machine
A carbonation machine may include a carbonation head, a holder that is configured to hold a gas canister, the holder comprising a connector with a socket configured to enable linear insertion of a valve of the canister into the socket, the socket including a seal with at least one lateral opening to enable fluidic flow between one or more laterally oriented ports of the valve and a conduit of the holder while preventing leakage of gas from the fluidic flow, and a holding mechanism configured to hold a lateral projection from the canister after insertion of the valve into the socket such that the valve remains in the socket, and an activation mechanism configured to operate the valve to release the gas from the canister when inserted into the socket so as to enable the gas to flow via the conduit to the carbonation head.
Storage tank with pressure actuated fill termination assembly
Gas pressure actuated fill termination valves for cryogenic liquid storage tanks and storage tanks containing the same.
Vacuum supply gas cylinder
A vacuum supply gas cylinder includes a cylinder body, a cylinder valve, a pipeline structure, a first check valve, a positive pressure regulating valve and a second check valve. The cylinder body includes an accommodating space and an opening. The cylinder valve closes the opening. The pipeline structure includes a first and second pipeline. The first check valve is one-way and disposed at the first pipeline. The first check valve has an opening pressure for a gas flow direction from the second end to the first end. The positive pressure regulating valve is disposed at the first pipeline and has an output pressure having a direction same as the gas flow direction from the second end to the first end. The second check valve is one-way and disposed at the first pipeline and is in the same direction as the flow direction of the input and stored gas.
GAS DELIVERY VALVE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A novel and improved inventive valve with a regulating function is provided that is capable of filling to higher fill pressures than previously attainable with conventional C-10 on-off valves. The valve contains a single flow passageway by which gas dispenses and enters the valve. A fill adapter is specially configured to engage the valve to allow filling at the higher pressures along the single flow passageway. The structure of the valve allows greater utilization of cylinder capacity; simplifies filling and dispensing with the single flow passageway; and allows for regulating gas pressure during delivery without increasing the overall size of the cylinder package.
Method and System for Transfer of Natural Gas
Systems and methods are disclosed that may be configured for transferring a fluid. The fluid may be transferred from a fluid source by which the fluid is under a first differential pressure to a container via use of a pressurizer that can increase the pressurization of the fluid to a second differential pressure. A controller may be used to coordinate operations of various components to allow the pressure generated by the pressurizer to be used to augment the pressure generated by the first differential pressure. Additional embodiments may include use of a mobile fueling unit that may facilitate transfer of the fluid from the container to a vehicle.
ANTI-SPIKE PRESSURE MANAGEMENT OF PRESSURE-REGULATED FLUID STORAGE AND DELIVERY VESSELS
A fluid supply package comprising a pressure-regulated fluid storage and dispensing vessel, a valve head adapted for dispensing of fluid from the vessel, and an anti-pressure spike assembly adapted to combat pressure spiking in flow of fluid at inception of fluid dispensing.
GASEOUS STORAGE SYSTEM, METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The present description relates to an adsorbent monolith, method to make the adsorbent monolith, and a gaseous storage system that includes an adsorbent monolith according to the present disclosure. In particular, the adsorbent monolith includes adsorbent, a binder, and a scaffold material.
LOW VOLATILITY, HIGH EFFICIENCY GAS BARRIER COATING FOR CRYO-COMPRESSED HYDROGEN TANKS
