DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FILLING A TANK
Device for filling a tank with a product, in particular a liquefied gas product, comprising an upper filling valve which can be arranged on a first filling line connecting a product reservoir to an upper filling opening of the tank, and a lower filling valve which can be arranged on a second filling line connecting the product reservoir to a lower filling opening of the tank, wherein the device comprises a control valve to which the tank pressure in the tank is applied as control quantity and which is connected to the upper filling valve via a first control line and to the lower filling valve via a second control line, wherein the control valve controls the upper filling valve and the lower filling valve for filling the tank in such a way that the tank pressure corresponds to a predetermined nominal value or nominal value range.
Inert gas backup system for air compressors
The present disclosure provides backup systems for air compressors. The systems can detect an air compressor failure and/or low instrument air pressure and activate a backup inert gas power source to maintain functionality of compressed air-powered pneumatic devices at a wellsite. The backup systems can provide a working fluid in the form of an inert gas to the compressed air-powered pneumatic devices.
A PROCESS FOR THE EXPLOSION-PROOF STORAGE OF NITROUS OXIDE
A process for the explosion-proof storage of nitrous oxide in the liquid phase in a container comprising filling the container with nitrous oxide and an inert component selected from nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water, argon, helium, krypton, xenon and mixtures thereof, and keeping it at a temperature of 190 to 273 K, wherein (i) the container has in all three spatial directions an inner distance between two opposite interior walls of 10 cm, (ii) the concentration of the inert components comprises 2 to 20 wt.-% in total, based on the nitrous oxide in the liquid phase, and (iii) compounds selected fromgases having a flammable range with air at 293.15 K and 101.3 kPa abs, liquids having a flash point of 366.15 K at 101.3 kPa abs, andmixtures thereof are kept at 0 to 2 wt.-% in total, based on the nitrous oxide in the liquid phase.

SPACE ELECTRIC PROPULSION SYSTEM AND XENON FILLING METHOD THEREFOR
A space electric propulsion system and a xenon filling method therefor are provided, suitable for a filling process of an electric propulsion system using high-purity xenon as a working medium. By reasonably designing a filling process, the precision of a xenon filling amount is ensured, and xenon filling can be performed without weighing the whole spacecraft. This method features a simple and efficient filling device, short preparation time, precise and controllable filling process, as well as safety and convenience, which can effectively meet the requirements for a high-purity xenon rapid filling task of a satellite.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LINER FOR PRESSURE VESSEL AND LINER FOR PRESSURE VESSEL
A liner for a pressure vessel includes body portions each including a central portion and tapered portions, and a plurality of connecting portions each connecting two of the body portions adjacent to each other in series via the tapered portions, having a smaller diameter than the central portion, and bent to fold the body portions. The method includes a step of manufacturing the liner by extruding a tubular preform having a predetermined bore diameter, disposing a tubular molding assist member having an outside diameter corresponding to a bore diameter of the connecting portion on an inside of a portion of the preform corresponding to the connecting portion, and performing blow molding with the molding assist member in contact with the inside of the connecting portion.
