System and method for supplying acetylene to an apparatus using acetylene

Disclosed in the present invention is a system and method for supplying acetylene to an apparatus using acetylene, the system having at least one acetylene storage apparatus and an acetylene content analysis apparatus. The system and method disclosed in the present invention can utilize the capacity of an acetylene cylinder to a higher degree; before the solvent impurity concentration in acetylene gas reaches a level where it is no longer suitable, a more accurate understanding of the usable acetylene amount in the acetylene storage apparatus can be gained through detection, thereby reducing the number of times that the acetylene storage apparatus is refilled and replaced, and lowering the user's total costs.

TANK FILLING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A tank filling system comprising a first filling coupler that couples to a first set of fittings disposed at a first tank end of a tank; a second filling coupler that couples to a second set of fittings disposed at a second tank end of the tank; a fluid source; a set of fluid lines and one or more fluid valves that communicate fluid from the fluid source to the first and second filling couplers; and a computing device configured to control the one or more fluid valves. In some examples, the tank can comprise an elongated folded tank having a plurality of elongated rigid tubing portions having a first diameter, a plurality of connector portions having a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter and flexible corrugations and a rigid cuff, and taper portions disposed between and coupling successive tubing portions and connector portions.

A gas cylinder cart includes a frame, a first control assembly composed of a first control panel wall and a first gas distribution assembly, a second control assembly composed of a second control panel wall and a second gas distribution assembly, and a central manifold connected to each of the first and second control assemblies. The central manifold includes a valve assembly allowing for connection of both the first and second control assemblies to gas cylinders, connection of only one of the first and second control assemblies to gas cylinders, or connection of the first and/or second control assemblies to remote gas sources. Inclusion of the first and second control assemblies within the gas cylinder cart allows for use of the gas cylinder cart in conjunction with different systems that might require different control assemblies.

MODULAR GAS EXTRACTION SYSTEM FOR PRESSURIZED GAS BOTTLES

Pressurized gas bottles with integrated valves, in which a plurality of functional supports are integrated in an extraction unit, are equipped with complex fall protection means. Moreover, in such a valve, a new approval procedure is carried out for the entire valve in the event of multiple modifications, for example when supplementing it with an additional function. In order to reduce the effort associated with this, an extraction fitting for a pressurized gas bottle is provided with a modular design, wherein a base module comprising the shut-off member and a fall protection device securing the shut-off member complies with legal requirements regarding fall protection and the shut-off device of the pressurized gas bottle. All further functionalities of the extraction fitting are integrated in at least one additional module, which is connected to the base module in a fixed but removable manner and without impairing the fall safety.
