HYDROGEN GAS FILLING DEVICE
An emergency breakaway coupling, which is a disconnect coupling, is configured such that a first coupler and a second coupler thereof are connected under normal conditions and the first coupler and the second coupler are disconnected during an emergency. A disconnect detecting device includes a detecting piece and a moving piece that are arranged in the emergency breakaway coupling. The disconnect detecting device detects the disconnect of the emergency breakaway coupling due to the movement of the moving piece from the detecting piece. The detecting piece and the moving piece are arranged in the emergency breakaway coupling such that a moving direction O2-O2 of the moving piece moving from the detecting piece is in parallel with a disconnecting direction O1-O1 of the first coupler disconnecting from the second coupler.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERING AND COOLING A COMPRESSED FUEL GAS
A method and apparatus for cooling a compressed fuel gas during transfer of the gas from a source vessel to a receiving vessel. The method includes receiving a portion of the fuel gas from the source vessel in an intermediate vessel. Then, fluidly isolating the intermediate vessel from the source vessel. Work is then extracted from the fuel gas by causing or allowing expansion of the fuel gas, thereby cooling the fuel gas. Finally, the cooled portion of fuel gas is released from the intermediate vessel to the receiving vessel.
VALVE ASSEMBLY
A valve assembly, comprising: a valve housing body extending along a longitudinal axis X between a first end and a second end and defining a cylindrical passage therethough from the first to the second end; a fluid inlet at the first end for receiving a pressurized fluid; and a fluid outlet provided in between the first and second end of the housing body; and a piston provided in said cylindrical passage, said piston being axially movable between a first position wherein said fluid outlet is blocked by said piston such that the piston blocks the flow of fluid from the inlet to the outlet, and a second position wherein said outlet is not blocked by said piston and a fluid flow path is formed from the inlet to the outlet.
HIGH-PRESSURE TANK
A high-pressure tank comprising: a resin liner for a high-pressure tank including at least one opening portion; an aluminum mouth portion attached to the opening portion; and a reinforcement layer formed on an outer surface of the liner, wherein an aluminum oxide coating is formed on a surface of the aluminum mouth portion, the aluminum oxide coating includes a porous surface layer in which columns with an average height of 10 to 100 nm are arranged in a dispersed state, an average value of a percentages of the protruding portion area of the columns in randomly sampled 400 nm square visual fields of the porous surface layer is 5.0 to 26.0%, and an average value of the numbers of the columns in randomly sampled 400 nm square visual fields of the porous surface layer is 500 to 2000.
Hydrogen discharge system for a truck and truck comprising such system
Hydrogen discharge system for a truck and truck comprising such system The invention concerns a hydrogen discharge system (14) for a truck, this system comprising a pipe (16) provided with at least one discharge opening (162), a deflector (18), that is rotatably mounted with respect to the pipe and that includes a vent, for venting hydrogen exiting through the discharge opening. The system further includes a balancing weight (22) secured to the deflector (18), so as to maintain the deflector in a configuration wherein the vent is facing upwards with respect to the ground, in order to always discharge hydrogen upwards relative to the ground.
Liner configuring member, high pressure tank, and method of manufacturing same
A liner configuring member configuring a liner includes a main body section which is configured from a resin material and has both ends opened. That is, both ends of the main body section are, respectively, a first open end and a second open end. There is provided in a vicinity of the first open end a first flange section where a first annular recess is formed by a first bottom section and a first side section. On the other hand, there is provided in a vicinity of the second open end a second flange section where a second annular recess is formed by a second bottom section and a second side section.
High-pressure vessel
A high-pressure vessel that includes a cylinder, at least one half-shell, and a substantially rotationally symmetrical insert member. The cylinder, forming a middle region of the high-pressure vessel, is composed of a multilayer composite plastic having a first barrier layer. The at least one half-shell is formed at an axial end of the cylinder, and is composed of a multilayer composite plastic having a second barrier layer. The substantially rotationally symmetrical insert member has a foot member at an end thereof which faces an interior of the high-pressure vessel.
