20220099253 · 2022-03-31 ·

A portable subsea storage tank for the storage of gas products under pressure or oil products consisting of pipeline sections in an array which can be coated in specialist coatings and recovered for inspection and re-use. A method of self-installing the subsea storage tank is also described.

Valve system with position indicator

A valve system having a valve position indicator is disclosed. The valve position indicator allows for viewing of the valve position from one or more viewing locations. In one example, the valve position indicator includes a side valve open/close indicator and a top valve open/close indicator on a valve assembly. An indicator locking mechanism securely locks the valve position indicator in alignment with a position of a control valve.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PRESSURE ACCUMULATOR

A method of manufacturing a pressure accumulator, using an AE signal for the pressure accumulator, includes: a first estimation step of estimating with an AE sensor provided at the pressure accumulator, a range of stress levels at each of which a damage AE signal that is generated from the pressure accumulator because of damage of material of the pressure accumulator is in a predetermined state; and a first design step of designing the pressure accumulator such that a minimum thickness of the pressure accumulator is determined based on the stress level range estimated in the first estimation step.

Sensor Mounting System

A sensor mounting assembly is configured for use with a vessel arrangement including at least four vessels. The assembly includes first and second elongated frame members, first and second rollers, and first and second sensors. The first sensor is attached to the first elongated frame member and is configured to contact the surface of the first vessel upon actuation in a first direction. The second sensor is attached to the second elongated frame member and is configured to contact the surface of the second vessel upon actuation in a second direction that is substantially orthogonal to the first direction. This disclosure also describes a method of mounting at least six sensors for use with a vessel arrangement including at least four vessels, the vessel arrangement disposed in a container in a two-by-two stacked configuration having a central space.

TANK LEVEL SENSOR AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A sensor assembly is positioned on an exterior of a tank to measure a fluid level within the tank. The tank is modified to include a surface feature and the sensor assembly is slotted within that surface feature. The sensor assembly includes a sensor device and a control circuit configured to drive the sensor device and evaluate readings to determine the fluid level. The sensor assembly further includes a communications interface to enable communication with a management system via a communications network. The management system can store information (e.g. fill status) related to the tank and additionally communicate with vendors or end users to coordinate resupply.

FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT
20210023407 · 2021-01-28 ·

Disclosed is a method of monitoring pressure in a fire suppression system of an aircraft, the method providing: receiving a first pressure-vessel measured pressure from a first pressure-vessel pressure transducer connected to a first pressure-vessel; receiving a second pressure-vessel measured temperature from a second pressure-vessel temperature sensor connected to a second pressure-vessel; calculating a first pressure-vessel estimated pressure from the second pressure-vessel measured temperature; comparing the first pressure-vessel measured pressure With the first pressure-vessel estimated pressure; and providing a depressurization alert when a difference between the first pressure-vessel measured pressure and the first pressure-vessel estimated pressure is greater than a threshold thereby avoiding unscheduled aircraft downtime due to an erroneous or missing temperature measurement in the first pressure-vessel.

Female pipe coupling member having communication terminal
10876664 · 2020-12-29 · ·

The pipe coupling member has a female pipe coupling body, and a cylindrical front and rear cover members fitted to the female pipe coupling body. The front cover member includes a communication assembly including a communication terminal, a communication cable extending rearward from the communication terminal inside the front cover member and further extending rearward from the rear end of the female pipe coupling body, and a connector terminal at the rear end of the communication cable. The rear cover member is configured to allow the connector terminal to be passed forward inside the rear cover member along a hose attached to the rear end of the female pipe coupling body when the rear cover member is displaced rearward in a state where the hose and the communication cable are allowed to pass inside the rear cover member.

System for measuring high pressure of in-tank regulator

A system for measuring pressure of an in-tank regulator includes a direct-pipe flow path which directly communicates with an inside of a high-pressure container, a high-pressure sensor, of which a portion is movable into the direct-pipe flow path, fastened to and separated from the direct-pipe flow path, and a shut-off valve disposed on the direct-pipe flow path between the high-pressure container and the high-pressure sensor, wherein when the high-pressure sensor is separated from the direct-pipe flow path, the direct-pie flow path is sealed by the shut-off valve.
