SET FOR DISPENSING LIQUEFIED GAS
A set (10) for dispensing liquefied gas from a vessel (100) comprises a supporting structure (1), a pump (2) and a conditioning system (4). The supporting structure is designed for maintaining both the pump and the conditioning system inside the vessel when the set is in operation condition for dispensing a flow of liquefied gas. The set allows easy handling, simple fitting to the vessel and easy removal from the vessel because a main part of said set can be handled as a one-block element.
TRAPPED GAS TRANSFER AND METERING SYSTEM
A fluid transfer system, including a first stage, including an inlet, a surge tank, and a first cylinder operatively arranged to pump the fluid from the inlet to the surge tank, and a second stage, including an outlet, a knock out tank, and a second cylinder operatively arranged to pump the fluid from the surge tank into the knockout tank.
BOIL-OFF GAS SUPPLY DEVICE
A boil-off gas supply device is provided with: a storage tank configured to store a liquefied gas; a first compression mechanism configured to suck in the boil-off gas of the liquefied gas stored in the storage tank and compress the sucked boil-off gas; a second compression mechanism configured to compress the boil-off gas after being compressed by the first compression mechanism; a discharge path in which the boil-off gas discharged from the second compression mechanism flows; a first drive source configured to drive the first compression mechanism; and a second drive source that is different from the first drive source and configured to drive the second compression mechanism.
LOADING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A system is provided for loading one or more transport tank. The system comprises one or more load lines for connecting between on-site storage tanks or vessels and the transport tanks; one or more vapour return lines for connecting between the transport tanks and an on-site flare or downstream units; an oxygen deficient medium source; one or more oxygen deficient medium blend supply lines connectable to each of the vapour return lines; a HMI/PLC for automation and control of the operations of the system; and a control panel in communication with the HMI/PLC for starting and stopping operation of the system. Gases displaced from the transport tanks during loading can be sent directly to flare or downstream units. A method is provided for loading a fluid from one or more on-site storage tanks or vessels to one or more transportation tanks in which gases displaced from the transport tank during loading are sent directly to flare or downstream units; and the method is automatically monitored and controlled via an HMI/PLC.
PARTIAL RELIQUEFACTION SYSTEM
Provided is a partial reliquefaction system including a boil-off gas (BOG) compression system receiving a BOG exiting from a liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank, a high-pressure compression section receiving a BOG stream from the BOG compression system, a heat exchanger effectuating a temperature drop of the BOG stream, an expander receiving the cooled BOG stream after passing through the heat exchanger, and a separator vessel for receiving a gas/liquid mixture, wherein a gas portion of the gas/liquid mixture is recirculated through the heat exchanger to act as the cooling medium for the heat exchanger.
SHIP COMPRISING ENGINE
A ship comprises an engine; a first self-heat exchanger which heat-exchanges boil-off gas discharged from a storage tank; a multi-stage compressor which compresses, in multi-stages, the boil-off gas that passed through the first self-heat exchanger after being discharged from the storage tank; a first decompressing device which expands one portion of the boil-off gas compressed by the multi-stage compressor; a second self-heat exchanger which heat-exchanges the other portion of the boil-off gas compressed by the multi-stage compressor, with the boil-off gas expanded by the first decompressing device; and a second decompressing device which expands the boil-off gas pre-cooled by the second self-heat exchanger and cooled by the first self-heat exchanger, wherein the first self-heat exchanger uses the boil-off gas discharged from the storage tank as a refrigerant for cooling the boil-off gas that passed through the second self-heat exchanger after being compressed by the multi-stage compressor.
LNG BOILOFF GAS RECONDENSATION CONFIGURATIONS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for optimizing the recondensation of boiloff gas in liquid natural gas storage tanks are presented. In especially preferred aspects of the inventive subject matter, BOG from a storage tank is condensed using refrigeration content of a portion of LNG sendout in a direct or indirect manner, and the BOG condensate and LNG sendout portion are combined to form a subcooled stream that is then combined with the balance of the LNG sendout, to be fed to a high pressure pump. Contemplated recondensation operations advantageously occur without using otherwise needed large volume recondensers. Moreover, the condensing and subcooling operations are decoupled from the LNG sendout rate.
INSTALLATION AND METHOD FOR STORING LIQUEFIED GAS
An installation and method for storing liquefied gas, comprising a plurality of separate storage tanks each configured to contain liquefied gas, comprising a cooling circuit provided with a refrigeration device, a withdrawal pipe and a plurality of first injection pipes towards each of the tanks in order to cool the withdrawn fluid flow, the tanks comprising a degassing line, the installation comprising a set of controlled valves situated at least in the cooling circuit, wherein the first tank contains liquid and at least one other tank is empty, containing essentially boil-off gas, that is to say containing little or no liquid, wherein there is cooling of the fluid contained in the first tank, re-injection into the first tank, injection of liquid cooled by the refrigeration device into at least one other empty tank and transfer of boil-off gas generated in the or the other tanks to the first tank
Vehicle fuel gas pre-filter unit
A vehicle fuel gas pre-filter unit can include a housing, a filter, and an inlet valve. The housing is installed in a vehicle structure that includes an outlet valve. The filter is located in the housing and between the inlet and outlet valves with respect to fuel gas flow through the pre-filter unit. The inlet valve permits and prevents gas flow into the housing and has a valve head that opens and closes an inlet port. The outlet valve permits and prevents gas flow out of the housing and eventually to a vehicle fuel gas storage tank. The outlet valve has a valve head that opens and closes an outlet port.
