Valve and reservoir(s) for pressurized fluid
A valve for pressurized fluid including a body housing a fluid circuit having an upstream end configured to be placed in communication with a reserve of pressurized fluid and a downstream end configured to be placed in communication with a user of fluid, the circuit including a collection of valve shutter(s) having at least one shutoff valve shutter allowing the circuit to be closed or opened, the valve having a member for manually controlling the collection of valve shutter(s), the control member being mounted thereby allowing the body to move between a rest position in which the collection of valve shutter(s) is in a position in which the circuit is closed and an active position in which the control member actuates the collection of valve shutter(s) into a position in which the circuit is open with a first bore section.
Cross-contamination prevention system and related methods
A method of transporting liquid petroleum gas (LPG) comprising coupling reverse thread fittings of a first tank to reverse thread fittings of a second tank, the first tank storing the LPG; and allowing the LPG to flow from the first tank to the second tank through the reverse thread fittings of the first tank and the reverse thread fittings of the second tank.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING A CRYOGENIC STREAM WITH A CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE FROM A BACK-UP SYSTEM
A method for temperature-controlled delivery of the gaseous product at temperatures at or below ambient in the event of an air separation unit failure. In one embodiment, a first portion of a stored cryogenic liquid product is sent to the back-up vaporizer and heated to ambient conditions, and a second portion of stored cryogenic liquid product, which is at the cryogenic storage temperature, bypasses the back-up vaporizer using a bypass line controlled by a bypass valve and is mixed with the vaporized gas. This mixed stream will then preferably go through a static mixer in order to get to an homogenous temperature that is below the ambient temperature. A temperature control loop can be used to adjust the opening of the by-pass valve in order to reach the desired product temperature.
Method of purging a dual purpose LNG/LIN storage tank
A method for loading liquefied nitrogen (LIN) into a cryogenic storage tank initially containing liquid natural gas (LNG) and a vapor space above the LNG. First and second nitrogen gas streams are provided. The first nitrogen stream has a lower temperature than the second nitrogen gas stream. While the LNG is offloaded from the storage tank, the first nitrogen gas stream is injected into the vapor space. The storage tank is then purged by injecting the second nitrogen gas stream into the storage tank to thereby reduce a natural gas content of the vapor space to less than 5 mol %. After purging the storage tank, the storage tank is loaded with LIN.
Service device and method for using a multi-component insulating gas during maintenance of electrical switchgear systems
A service device for a multi-component insulating gas for use during maintenance of electrical switchgear systems comprising a compressor with a downstream condenser, a storage container, the service device is connected to a system space, and the compressor compresses the insulating gas during removal from the system space, all components of the insulating gas remain in the compressor in a gaseous state, the condenser is controlled by a controller so a condensation of the insulating gas occurs first in the storage container, a storage heating device is provided for the storage container, during filling of the system space the storage heating device heats the insulating gas to a temperature above the critical temperature of the insulating gas, wherein, a line heating device is provided which at least partially heats the pipeline between the storage container and the system space and/or heats elements in the pipeline.
LIQUEFIED FLUID SUPPLY SYSTEM AND LIQUEFIED FLUID-SPRAYING APPARATUS
A liquefied fluid supply system is a liquefied fluid supply system of supplying a nozzle with a liquefied fluid that vaporizes after spraying and includes: a supercooler that cools the liquefied fluid to a temperature lower than a saturation temperature thereof and makes the liquefied fluid into a supercooled liquid; and a booster that boosts in pressure the liquefied fluid made into the supercooled liquid by the supercooler and supplies the liquefied fluid to the nozzle.
Device equipped with tank
A device equipped with a tank, includes: the tank to be filled with a fuel gas; a valve mechanism provided in the tank; a receptacle with which a nozzle of a fuel gas filling device is connectable; a first filling path, an upstream end of the first filling path communicating with the receptacle; a second filling path, a downstream end of the second filling path communicating with the tank through the valve mechanism; and a storage container hermetically communicating between a downstream end of the first filling path and an upstream end of the second filling path, and storing foreign matter contained in the fuel gas, wherein the storage container is positioned vertically above the downstream end of the first filling path.
VALVE AND RESERVOIR(S) FOR PRESSURIZED FLUID
A valve for pressurized fluid including a body housing a fluid circuit having an upstream end configured to be placed in communication with a reserve of pressurized fluid and a downstream end configured to be placed in communication with a user of fluid, the circuit including a collection of valve shutter(s) including at least one shutoff valve shutter allowing the circuit to be closed or opened, the valve including a member for manually controlling the collection of valve shutter(s).
VALUABLE GAS RECOVERY APPARATUS
An apparatus for collecting helium gas includes: a first receptacle having a first flexible membrane for receiving a gas containing helium, the first receptacle being selectively couplable to an inlet of the apparatus; a second receptacle having a second flexible membrane for receiving the gas containing helium, the second receptacle being selectively couplable to the inlet of the apparatus; a pump having an inlet selectively couplable to an outlet of the first receptacle and selectively couplable to an outlet of the second receptacle; a purifier having an inlet couplable to an outlet of the pump; and an outlet of the apparatus couplable to an outlet of the purifier. A method of collecting and reusing helium gas is also described. Other valuable and/or rare gases may be recovered and reused.
