A compressed natural gas storage and dispensing system having bulk storage tanks in fluid communication with a natural gas supply source; a compressor to produce compressed natural gas; dispensing storage tanks in fluid communication with the bulk storage tanks and in fluid communication with fuel dispensers; a liquified natural gas storage tank in fluid communication with the bulk storage tanks, wherein compressed natural gas resulting from vaporization of the liquified natural gas within the liquified natural gas storage tank is transferred to the bulk storage tanks as a supplemental source of compressed natural gas, or wherein liquified natural gas is vaporized in an ambient vaporizer and delivered to the bulk or dispensing storage tanks.

The LNG fuelling nozzles are plugged to the vehicles propelled by natural gas specifically in a coupling means of the fuel tanks. During the unplugging of said nozzles once the tank has been filled cause always inevitably a gas leak and in the event of a leak during the filling there is a leak near the user which, in addition to be hazardous, pollute the environment and economically harms the user.

For this reason the invention proposes a solution consisting of channeling the gas from these leaks to a supplementary tank and, from it to the supply tank, recovering all the leaks, for which a pipe is used as main elements of the device, which is coupled to the bayonet by means of a seal connector made of Teflon or similar material and, a check valve at the inlet of the supplementary tank, said seal can be incorporated either in the bayonet or in the receptacle.

A device for transferring liquid helium into a usage helium tank of a usage cryostat includes a reservoir cryostat with a vacuum-insulated reservoir helium tank configured to store liquid helium available for filling the usage helium tank, a supply line for liquid helium, and a gaseous helium return line. The supply line proceeds from the vacuum-insulated reservoir helium tank and is connected to the usage helium tank. The gaseous helium return line leads into the vacuum-insulated reservoir helium tank and is connected to the usage helium tank. The device further includes a conveying device configured to convey liquid helium from the vacuum-insulated reservoir helium tank through the supply line into the usage helium tank and further configured to convey gaseous helium from the usage helium tank through the return line into the vacuum-insulated reservoir helium tank.

A liquid hydrogen reservoir and a method for operating a liquid hydrogen reservoir. The liquid hydrogen reservoir includes a cryostatic container operable to hold liquid hydrogen; a discharge line operable to discharge gaseous hydrogen in the cryostatic container; a boil-off management system (BMS), a return line, and a boil-off valve (BOV). The BMS that includes a mixing chamber operable to mix the gaseous hydrogen with ambient air, a catalyst arranged downstream of the mixing chamber and operable for a catalytic conversion of the gaseous hydrogen with the ambient air, and an exhaust gas line arranged downstream of the catalyst and operable to discharge the gas stream to the environment. The return line is operable to connect the exhaust gas line to the mixing chamber to facilitate a return flow of at least a partial stream of the exhaust gas line into the mixing chamber.

Some embodiments are directed to a module for depressurisation and storage of a portion of a gas coming from at least one cryogenic tank. Some other embodiments are directed to a system using such a module.
