REGULATED FILL STATION
A pressure regulator for controlling the flow of gas from a high pressure source to a low pressure device and regulating a pressure to the low pressure device includes a body having a high pressure inlet and a regulated pressure outlet. The body has a series of passages and bores including first and second regulator valve assembly bores and first and second fill valve assembly bores. The first and second regulator valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages and the first and second fill valve assembly bores are disposed on opposing sides of one of the passages. A regulator valve assembly includes a seal, a regulator valve piston, a biasing member and an adjusting plug positioned in the first regulator valve assembly bore, and a seal, a seat, a ball, a spring and a plug positioned in the second regulator valve assembly. A fill valve assembly includes a seal, a jam nut, a spring, a valve shaft, and a shaft actuator positioned in the first fill valve assembly bore and a seal, a seat, a ball, a spring and a plug positioned in the second fill valve assembly bore.
Tap assembly with cover and electronic status indicator
A tap for gas cylinder, comprising a body with an inlet, an outlet and a passage connecting the inlet with the outlet; an electronic indicator of the status of the tap and/or cylinder, the indicator being mounted on the body; a pressure sensor electrically connected to the electronic indicator and providing to the indicator the gas pressure at the inlet. The pressure sensor is mounted on the body at a location that is distinct from the mounting location of the electronic indicator. The invention is also directed to a tap assembly comprising the above tap and a cover housing the tap.
Pressure vessel transport system
A pressure vessel transport system can have one or more handles that allow a pressure vessel to be efficiently and safely transported. The transport system can consist of a housing surrounding a pressure vessel with the pressure vessel having a valve. The housing may continuously extend along a longitudinal axis of the pressure vessel to position the valve within the housing.
Device for supplying pressurised fluid
A device including a tank of pressurized fluid provided with an orifice in which a first valve is fixed that includes a body of elongate overall shape extending along a longitudinal axis (A) between a first end connected to the tank and a second connection end, the device including a protective bonnet for protecting the first valve and delimiting a protective chamber around the first valve, the protective chamber being provided with an access opening the device including a fluid transfer member that forms a separate physical entity from the first valve and from the tank, the transfer member and the first valve including respective coupling members that form a quick-connection system for removably connecting the transfer member to the second end of the valve.
Hand-wheel adjusting the outlet of a tap for gas cylinder
The invention is directed to a hand-wheel for adjusting an outlet pressure and/or a flow-rate of a tap for a gas cylinder, the hand-wheel comprising a body; and a transparent cover fixed on the body. The hand-wheel further comprises indicia arranged between the transparent cover and the body so as to be visible by a user but not in contact with the fingers of the user. The invention is also directed to a tap for gas cylinder, comprising such a hand-wheel, as well as to a tap assembly comprising such a tap and a cover housing the tap.
STORAGE VESSEL LEAK DETECTION, REMEDIATION, AND METHOD OF TRAINING
This application describes methods for responding to a storage vessel leakage event and the implementation of one or more assemblages of components to provide remediation of the leakage event. This application also describes methods of teaching storage vessel leakage remediation for responders and how to use the method of responding to storage vessel leakage event in combination with the one or more assemblages of components.
Gas cylinder control system and gas cylinder for use therewith system
The present invention provides a control system (10) for managing the supply of bottled gas to users (12), the system comprising: a gas cylinder system (14) having a gas cylinder (15) for receiving and distributing gas contained therein; a first electronic monitoring system (16) associated with said gas cylinder system (14) and operable to monitor parameters associated with said cylinder system (14); a second monitoring system (18) associated with one or more locations (A-F) in which said cylinder may reside and being operable to monitor the presence or absence of said cylinder within said one or more locations (A-F); and a computer system (20) in communication with each of said second monitors (18) for receiving information therefrom relating to the presence or absence of said cylinder system (14) in said one or more locations (A-F).
FOOT FOR A PORTABLE PRESSURIZED GAS CYLINDER
Provided is a portable gas cylinder including a gas tank having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a collar, the collar including a base secured to the lower portion, a flange extending around and radially outwardly from the base, and a plurality of notches circumferentially spaced around the flange, and a foot ring configured to be attached to the gas tank, the foot ring including a base having an inner surface, an outer surface, a central portion, and a ledge extending around and inward from the central portion, a plurality of circumferentially spaced deflectable longitudinal lock tabs radially outwardly spaced from the central portion for securing the foot ring to the tank, and a plurality of circumferentially spaced rotational lock tabs radially outwardly spaced from the central portion.
A CYLINDER
A cylinder is provided in which fluid fuels are stored. The cylinder has at least one body in which a fluid fuel is stored; at least one valve located on the body for conveying fluid fuel into or from the body; at least one handle located on the body; at least one collar connecting the said handle to the body; at least one cover on the valve; at least one identifier located at the inner side of the collar and having thereon at least a first visual code specific to the cylinder it is connected; and at least a second visual code on the cover.
Storage box for bottles of pressurized fluid and associated storage frame
A storage frame for cylinders of pressurized fluid, including a primary structure and at least one storage box including at least one cylinder of pressurized fluid extending along a longitudinal axis between two ends, having at least one first retaining member configured to collaborate fixedly with one end of the at least one cylinder and blocking the rotation of the cylinder, and at least one second retaining member configured to collaborate with the other end of the cylinder.
