The first conductive unit is used for connecting to an external power source. The installation bracket is fixed to an installation platform. The first conductive unit is disposed on a first side of the installation bracket. The top cover is used for disposing the second conductive unit and the light body. The top cover is detachably connected to the installation bracket from a second side of the installation bracket.

A light fixture, for a ceiling plenum system defining an upstream space and a downstream space, includes a light-fixture base defining a light-fixture axis. First and second side walls extend toward the downstream space and are sealingly attached to the base plate and to first and second end plates. First and second legs are sealingly attached to the light-fixture base by one of a first-leg continuously welded joint and a first-leg monolithic connection. A downstream end of each leg forms a knife portion. First and second gas filters each comprise an orthogonal gas-filter frame defining an interior perimeter and an exterior perimeter. A trough with sealant affixed therein is sealingly attached to and surrounds a portion of the exterior perimeter. A trough opening faces the downstream space, with the knife portions penetrating surfaces of the sealant, forming a seal between the light-fixture base and each gas filter.

DOWNLIGHT AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

A downlight is provided. The downlight includes an insulating housing, a power supply assembly, a reflection cup, a LED light source, and a diffusion cover, wherein, the interior of the insulated housing is divided into a first cavity and a second cavity, the power supply assembly is arranged in the first cavity, the reflection cup is arranged in the second cavity, the LED light source is arranged in the reflection cup and connected with the power supply assembly, the reflection cup is configured to dissipate the heat of the LED light source and reflect the light from it to the open end of the second cavity, and the diffusion cover encapsulated in the open end of the second cavity is configured to diffuse the light.

IMPROVED LED DOWNLIGHT WITH ENHANCED FEATURES

The present invention may be directed to an improved LED downlight with enhanced features including a multi-adjustable junction box and cover assembly, and arm and hinge mechanisms for better installation and packaging of said improved LED downlight. The versatile configuration of the junction box, mounting plate arm, and hinge mechanisms may allow the entire assembly to be maneuvered over various sized ceiling holes for ease of driver and LED replacement and maintenance. Other features and improvements may include compact compressible and expandable three-piece hangar bar mounting brackets, an integral air-tight box, and/or a system for mounting the improved LED downlight to various ceiling thicknesses. The improved LED downlight may be used in both new construction and remodel retrofit installations, sharing the majority of parts, providing ease and flexibility for the installer.

A device for retrofitting an existing trimmed recessed lighting fixture for installation of a trimless recessed light fixture may include a collar section configured to be received within an opening of a housing of the existing trimmed recessed lighting fixture installed above a ceiling surface, the collar section including a proximal section configured to be fitted within the opening of the housing; a surface being secured the collar section, the surface being configured to lie flush against the ceiling and to be joined integrally to the ceiling; and a baffle being releasably lockable to the collar section. A kit including the device and a method of retrofitting an existing trimmed recessed lighting fixture are also disclosed.

UNIVERSAL MOUNTING FRAME ASSEMBLY FOR AN OPTICAL ASSEMBLY

Aspects of this disclosure relate to a mounting frame assembly for use with coupling to an optical assembly, the mounting frame assembly may comprise: a mounting frame comprising a first attachment interface spaced apart from a second attachment interface, wherein the mounting frame is configured to support a junction box; an aperture plate, coupled to the mounting frame at the first and second attachment interfaces, the aperture plate comprising a first aperture configured to receive a reflector assembly; and a first mounting bracket adjustably-coupled to the first attachment interface, and a second mounting bracket adjustably-coupled to the second attachment interface, the first and second mounting brackets configured to provide adjustable coupling of the mounting frame to a ceiling structure between at least two positions along a vertical direction.

LUMINAIRE HAVING A UNIVERSAL MULTI-FUNCTION LIGHT ENGINE ASSEMBLY

A luminaire has a light engine configured to be attached to a light source circuit board or LED module. The light engine may have a block structure with a cavity extending into the block structure from an aperture. The light engine may also have a slot, extending through a sidewall of the block into the cavity perpendicular to a first direction. The slot may form a mounting surface that has a larger surface area than an area of the aperture, onto which the circuit board or LED module may be attached. Further, the circuit board or LED module may be removable from the cavity and slidable through the slot.

LUMINAIRE HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE TORSION SPRING

A luminaire includes an adjustable torsion spring assembly for mounting the light engine assembly to a mounting frame and for providing the ability to conduct maintenance of the light engine assembly. The first switch is provided for users to operate to adjust a setting. The second switch is provided for users to operate to adjust the setting. The first switch is concealed in the installation cavity. The second switch is placed on the rim edge exposed outside the installation cavity. The first switch and the second switch are coupled to the controller.
