Lighting element for illuminated hardscape
A lighting element for an illuminated hardscape. The lighting element includes a body structure defining a dispersion surface. A light fixture is positioned within the body structure and is configured to provide a light which is dispersed through the body structure to the dispersion surface. The body structure is formed from a clear or translucent material. An illuminated hardscaping is also provided.
Lighting apparatus
Present invention provides for a lighting system constructed and arranged to be positioned within a container having a lid and light mounted thereon wherein said container is constructed and arranged to be buried in the ground in a position such that the lid is substantially congruent with the planar surface of the ground.
Integrated caps for pole-mounted light fixtures
An integrated cap for retrofitting an existing light fixture can include an integrated cap housing that is configured to be disposed atop a pole that supports the existing light fixture, where the integrated cap housing includes a communication module and a transceiver. The integrated cap can also include a first coupling feature disposed at a bottom end of the integrated cap housing, where the first coupling feature is configured to couple to a first component of the existing light fixture to provide electrical signals to the communication module and the transceiver, where the communication module and the transceiver communicate with a second component external to the existing light fixture.
LIGHTED REINFORCED LANDSCAPE STRUCTURE
A landscape assembly having a plurality of curbing sections, each curbing section may include: a front surface and a rear surface forming an interior cavity, a plurality of supports positioned within the interior cavity and providing vertical and radial support to the front and rear surfaces, a channel integral with the rear surface and extending along an entire length of the curbing section, a first end wall connected to a first terminating end of the front and rear surfaces, a second end wall connected to a second terminating end of the front and rear surfaces, the first and second end walls enclosing the interior cavity, and a plurality of spikes extending substantially downward from the curbing section. Each of the plurality of curbing sections may also include a set of interlocking engagement features including: a first interlocking engagement feature and a second interlocking engagement feature disposed on the first and second end walls, respectively, said set of interlocking engagement features being configured to interlock one of the plurality of curbing sections with an immediately adjacent curbing section.
Apparatus, system, and method for smart roadway stud control and signaling
The subject matter described herein includes a roadway stud control system including a local stud control system positioned along a first section of a roadway, a plurality of roadway studs, each roadway stud disposed on a surface of the first section of the roadway and communicably coupled to the local stud control system, wherein the local stud control system is configured to communicate a control signal to control at least one aspect of the plurality of roadway studs.
ILLUMINATED ROAD MARKER
A road marker and an installation for a roadway extending along a longitudinal axis and having a roadway upper surface are provided. The road marker includes a housing containing an energy source and a light source to be powered by the energy source and configured to emit light along the longitudinal axis.
Automatic lighting system of the transversal marking for crossing of the pedestrian walkways
The invention refers to a lighting automatic system for pedestrian crossing and to a method of making the markings for the pedestrian crossings. The system comprises several lighting units sank in the asphalt made of a box (2)welded by a netting (11) fixed on the bottom of the hole made for the mounting of the lighting units, the box (2) having an external frame (5) and being closed with a detachable cap (4) equipped with a window in which a protection frame is fixed (6) of a piece made of safety glass (8), the cap representing the transversal marking of the pedestrian crossing, in the interior of the box (2) being a LED lighting unit (1) powered by a net or a photovoltaic plant (14) mounted on a pile (17) in the proximity of the pedestrian crossing, on the surface of the cap (4) being poured bitumen subsequently painted with reflecting painting, so that the glass (8) in the mounted state of the system, to be at the level of the roadway (10).
Lighting element for illuminated hardscape
