Dynamic road marker
A road marker device comprising: a housing comprising a flat top surface and configured to be inserted in a road such that the flat top surface is leveled with the road surface; a light source housing operatively coupled with the housing, the light source housing comprising at least one aperture protruding from the flat top surface; at least one light source installed in the light source housing, wherein the at least one light source is visible to users of the road through the at least one aperture; and a tilt mechanism installed in the housing and operatively coupled with the light source housing, the tilt mechanism configured to allow descent of the light source housing below the road surface once a pressure is applied on the light source housing.
Elastomeric retention ring for lamps
A lighting assembly is described, having an elastomeric, cylindrical ring with one or more grooves along its inner surface for engaging various components within an outdoor light assembly. For example, the elastomeric ring can engage with a disc-shaped lens, a light bulb, and/or various areas of the housing of the light assembly.
Lighting system for aircraft landing surfaces and method for making said system
A lighting system for aircraft landing surfaces, including a plurality of electric lighting elements arranged in an orderly sequence to help to form on the surface a predetermined symbol, visible from the aircraft during landing, at least one branch box for accessing the electricity network, the sequence of the lighting elements forming a chain.
Pixelated Water Display and Design Tools Therefor
A water display including a number of pixels or manifolds that may include water nozzles to emit streams of water and/or other utilities such as lighting is described. The water streams may be pixelated so as to provide a high resolution waveform or other choreography. The choreography transitions between waveforms to provide the appearance of a cascading or undulating wave. A tool to design the water display and simulate its appearance is also described.
Runway fixture ring
A method and device for easily installing and removing an airport light on a runway using a fixture ring having a base ring; an annular lip operatively connected to and extending radially inwardly from the base ring; a lift bar operatively connected to the annular lip and extending from one side to the diametrically opposite side of the annular lip; and an extractor, operatively connecting the lift bar to the annular lip to cause the lift bar to move up and down relative to the annular lip.
Lighting and Collision Alerting System
A collision avoidance system includes a sensor adapted to detect at least one vehicle in the vicinity of a predetermined area and generate target data relating to the at least one vehicle. An awareness engine receives the target data and evaluates the target data for a threat of a collision. An alerting system is adapted to alert the at least one vehicle in the event of a threat of a collision, the alerting system being activated by the awareness engine.
DYNAMIC DISPLAY PROJECTION LAMP WITH MULTIPLE PROJECTION UNITS
A dynamic display projection lamp of the present invention includes plural projection units fixed to a fixing assembly. The fixing assembly includes a lens holder and a film holder for fixing a film. A plurality of penetrating holes are defined in the lens holder, and clamping grooves for clamping plural lenses of plural lens groups are formed in inner walls defining the penetrating holes. The film holder is fixed in the lens holder or at least a portion of the film holder is inserted between the lenses through an opening of the lens holder. All the projection units disposed in a single row or two rows up and down are fixed by using the lens holder and the film holder. The projection units are allowed to project patterns in sequence by using a controller, thus producing a dynamic pattern projection effect.
ILLUMINATING SAFETY AND NOTIFICATION DEVICE
A safety device comprises a light source, a power source coupled to the light source, a controller coupled to the light source and the power source to control operation of the lighting device, and a connection port that transmits and receives power up and control signals. In some embodiments, the connection port transmits and receives a wired signal. In further embodiments, the connection port transmits and receives a wireless signal. In some embodiments, the connection port receives a signal from an external source. In some of these embodiments, the external source is a remote control. In further embodiments, the external source is a program located on a computing device. In still further embodiments, the external source is one or more additional connection port of one or more additional safety devices. In some embodiments, the signal is a signal to power the light source.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A COMPONENT OF A VEHICLE WASH SYSTEM
A lighting device is provided for attachment to a component that defines an open area. The lighting device includes a mounting plate and a light emitting diode (LED) assembly. The mounting plate extends longitudinally, and is disposable within the open area. The mounting plate presents a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface. The LED assembly is operatively attached to the first mounting surface, with the LEDs being operatively attached to the first mounting surface, such that the LEDS form at least two columns. Each LED is configured to emit a respective field of light in response to being energized. The LED assembly is configured such that a field of light projected from the LEDs for one of the at least two columns is projected radially away from the field of light projected from the LEDs for the other of the at least two columns.
