Lamp having slideably extendable illumination units
A lamp includes a base defining a chamber and having a wall plate covering the chamber, a power supply mounted in the chamber, two T-shaped tracks projecting from a bottom surface of the base, and two illuminating units each including a light emitting module and a slideway coupled to a corresponding one of the tracks such that the illuminating units can slide along the track.
LED Track Element For Track Lighting Systems
An LED luminaire for a track lighting system, that takes the form of a track section rather than a more customary separate device attached to a track section. The new luminaire has an elongated, extruded housing configured to correspond to the exterior of standard track sections to visually blend in with the overall track system. A circuit board, mounting a plurality of longitudinally aligned LED elements, extends for the full length of the housing, providing downward illumination through an optic member closing the bottom of the housing. The LED housing has a plug-in type connection to an adjacent track section providing physical alignment, electrical power and data functions. Successive luminaires can be connected together, and the new luminaires can be connected to additional standard track sections. The new luminaires can be installed throughout an overall track lighting system, substantially without limitation as to number and/or order.
LED LINK SYSTEM WITH DISTRIBUTIVE POWERING SCHEME
A linkable linear light emitting diode (LED) system provides apparatus and methods for mechanically, optically, and electrically linking multiple LED modules disposed over a wide and separated area of a ceiling system. Openings can be cut in ceiling tiles of a drop ceiling system and the LED lighting modules are coupled to the tile through the opening, with the tile being sandwiched between different portions of the module. A remote driver system is placed within the drop ceiling above the tiles and provides multiple connectors for powering a multitude of lighting modules. Certain of the LED lighting modules include both input and output connectors for both receiving power or data and providing power or data to other modules. In this manner, some of the modules act as master LED lighting modules and those receiving power and/or data therefrom are act as slave modules.
Lighting apparatus, power-supply apparatus, coupling apparatus and lighting system
The lighting apparatus (10) comprises a connection body (11), and a lighting body (12) with at least one light source (13); the lighting body (12) is mechanically and electrically connected to the connection body (11), the connection body (11) is adapted to be mechanically and electrically connected to a supporting and power-supply guide (20) which extends in a longitudinal direction (L); the connection body (11) is shaped like an elongated box and is adapted to be inserted into and extracted from the guide (20) at least in a direction (P) perpendicular to the length thereof and to the longitudinal direction (L); the connection body (11) comprises at least two mechanical contacts (16A, 16B) and at least two electrical contacts (15A, 15B), as well as at least two elastic means which act on the mechanical contacts (16A, 16B) or on the electrical contacts (15A, 15B) so as to allow them to be moved back-and-forth during the inserting and extracting step into/from said guide (20).
LED light has a built-in projection light and night light and/or multiple functions
An LED light has a built-in projection light and a night light to offer at least two functions for people in a dark environment. The projection light can project an image from any type of display-unit irrespective of geometric shape or image source or type, including display of digital data, wireless digital data, an LCD or TFT screen display, or any other display, enabling images of enlarged size to be projected onto a preferred surface, making it easier for people to see the image. The built-in night light helps people see things in a dark environment.
Modular, easy to install and remove, track light
A modular track light includes an electrical box and an adaptor that links the modular track light to a track. This adaptor connects to the electrical box through one or more rotating components. The electrical box has a groove with a power supply plate therein. The power supply plate is slidably removable from a power consumption plate which is attached to a fixture through one or more additional rotating components. When the power consumption plate is fastened to the power supply plate, an electrode clip on the power consumption plate engages an electrode contact point on the power supply plate, creating an electrical connection between the electrical box and the fixture. When these plates are separated, the electrode clip disengages the electrode contact point, disconnecting the electrical box and the fixture. The modular track light is easy to replace and can fulfill the demands of different applications.
