Security light with remote photo-voltaic module and battery backup and related methods
Methods and apparatus for a security light having a remote photovoltaic module is set forth. The security light includes a primary rechargeable battery connected to the remote photovoltaic module while also having a backup battery system to be utilized when the rechargeable batteries condition require recharge. The security lighting unit functions as a security light to provide variable wide area illumination based upon environmental and battery conditions and also which power supply is optionally connected to the load, the load being the illumination sources and the various supportive electronics. The system further includes a controller which can not only operationally selects either the rechargeable batteries or backup batteries but also can monitor battery condition to preserve battery life. In operation, the security light may include a variable battery power supply for ease of installation.

The present invention provides an outdoor lighting lamp comprising a ground inserted base including an assembly opening and a ground nail, and a lighting module including a first shell, a light projection gap, a light emitting component, and a solar panel connected with the light emitting component. The light generated by electrifying the light emitting component is only projected by the light projection gap. One end of the first shell is mounted at the assembly opening, and the first shell is forced to rotate relative to the ground inserted base based on an axis of the ground nail to be a rotation axis. The solar panel is arranged at one end of the first shell where is in an opposite direction of the ground inserted base and not in horizontal. The solar panel adjusts a light receiving position by rotating the first shell relative to the ground inserted base.

Improvements a portable elevated lighting system that uses LED lighting elements for illumination. The LED lights are selected based upon the light transmission angle so the fewest number of lighting elements are needed to provide an even flood or focus of light from the system. A reflector works as a heat sink to remove heat from the LED lights and extend the operation life of the LED's. Thermal paste and or a thermal pad is used between the LED lighting element and the frame to conduct sufficient heat away from the LED element. Two versions are shown as a stadium light and as a circular flood light that provides lighting without shadows or bright areas. The system can be operated from a generator or solar for charging batteries so the lighting can operate self-contained without producing noise.

A system for street light lighting control and for Internet-of Things control for monitoring solar power generation includes a solar panel configured to generate photovoltaic-based electricity using sunlight; a battery configured to store the electricity generated by the solar panel; a solar controller configured to control the battery to store the electricity; and a street light controller configured to control lighting of at least one street light using the electricity stored in the battery, wherein the solar controller includes a battery information detection module configured to detect remaining charge information and discharging time information, which are charging/discharging status information of the battery and a communication module configured to transmit the remaining charge information and discharging time information to a monitoring server, wherein the communication module transmits the charging/discharging status information, the remaining charge information, and the discharging time information to the monitoring server through a low-power wide area network.

A cap with an illuminated plastic bill assembly. An illumination assembly provides power and controls for a light source that is used to illuminate the edge or surface of a plastic cap bill.
