Solar or wind powered assembly device
An assembly comprising at least one energy consuming device; the at least one energy consuming device being mounted to a support; at least one solar element for creating electric power from solar power; at least one energy storage device for storing electricity generated by the solar element; at least one wind vane or propeller-operatively associated with the support; at least one energy converter for generating electric power from the wind; and at least one shaft operatively connected to the at least one energy converter and the support. Optionally, the energy converter comprises at least one motor which operates to rotate the support; the at least one motor being operatively connected to the at least one battery for storing electric power therein.
Lit tools and power storage
An assemblage for use with a vacuum having a conduit. The assemblage includes a light assembly including a housing and a generator having a fan rotor. The generator generates an electrical current in response to the fan rotor turning. The generator is positioned in the housing to move air across the fan rotor. The light assembly includes a circuit operatively connected to the generator and a light emitting device. The circuit energizes the light emitting device to emit light energy in response to receiving the electrical current from the generator. The light assembly also includes a lens aligned with the light emitting device for concentrating the light energy. The assemblage includes a tool assembly including a light transmitting body mounted adjacent to the lens. The tool assembly includes a cover surrounding the light transmitting body to prevent light energy from being emitted through the cover.
Reliable and self-sufficient lighting system and method therefor
A lighting apparatus has a lighting component, an energy storage unit, a photovoltaic (PV) panel for at least one of powering the lighting component and charging the energy storage unit, a wind turbine having a plurality of rotatable blades coupled to a generator for at least one of powering the lighting component and charging the energy storage unit, and a housing receiving therein at least the lighting component, the energy storage unit, and the PV panel. The wind turbine is physically coupled to the housing.
Solar powered streetlamp solar collector
Various embodiments provide a solar collecting streetlamp. The streetlamp includes a lamp top having solar collectors and one or more light sources. A post is included which supports the lamp top. Disposed around the post is a shell defining an air gap. The shell is configured to supply air from the base of the post to the lamp top. The streetlamp can include a gyromagnetic generator to help move the air through the air gap towards the lamp top.
