Electric lighting devices

Various components for artificial candles and other lighting devices are described that can be used to create a realistic flame effect in the devices. The devices include a flame element that extends upwardly from a housing. A light source can be disposed with respect to the flame element such that the flame element is illuminated. A variety of drive mechanisms could be disposed within the body of the device that can cause movement of the flame element with respect to the housing. The flame element can be coupled to a housing or mounting bracket of the device using various components to suspend the flame element within the housing.

ELECTRONIC SCENT PRODUCING IMITATION CANDLE DEVICE

Electronic imitation candle devices are described that produce a scent while including a flame-like element that simulates a real fire flame. One example device includes a support assembly having a base, a top plate and a support rod that connects the base and the top plate, as well as a flame element and a light source to simulate a real candle flame. The device also includes a fragrance compartment above the top plate that includes a lid removably positioned on top of the fragrance container. The device is further provided with a heating element above the top plate and below the fragrance container to provide heat to the fragrance container, and a switch coupled to the lid of the fragrance container and operable to sense that the fragrance container is covered by the lid and to deactivate the heating element when the fragrance container is covered by the lid.

Flame simulator with movable light beam

A flame simulator includes a light beam source that projects a beam of light, a flame screen, a light beam mover that imparts movement to at least a part of the light beam source, and a range limiter. The light beam source includes a light source adapted to produce light and at least one light conditioner adapted to act on the light from the light source to produce the beam of light with a color, size and shape that mimics a flame when the beam strikes the flame screen. The range limiter is operatively associated with the light beam source so that the beam of light, when being projected, strikes at least a portion of the flame screen and causes illumination of the flame screen by the beam of light.

Methods, systems and devices associated with an electronic candle are disclosed. One example includes an electronic candle includes an outer shell including a through-hole, a light-emitting assembly including a flame sheet configured to protrude through the through-hole, an inner shell positioned within the outer shell, and a self-locking device positioned within a cavity of the inner shell. The self-locking device is configured to operate in (1) a locked state when a switch locks a spring in a compressed state and (2) an unlocked state when the switch releases the spring to be in a relaxed state. The electronic candle also includes a bottom case such that the bottom case is enclosed within the outer shell when the self-locking device is in the locked state and the bottom case is exposed to an external environment beneath the outer shell when the self-locking device is in the unlocked state.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING LIGHTING FIXTURE ARRANGEMENT INFORMATION
20220191995 · 2022-06-16 ·

Systems and methods for determining lighting fixture arrangement information (e.g., position and/or orientation). A lighting beam from the lighting fixture is directed among three discrete locations on a reference surface (e.g., by a controller). The fixture's position is determined using perspective inversion based on angular changes of the lighting fixture and coordinate data of the discrete locations (e.g., determined using a camera and a reference point on the surface). Distances from the fixture to the three discrete locations are estimated based on perspective inversion. The position of the lighting fixture is trilateralized based on the distances. Spherical coordinates of the fixture's orientation relative to the reference surface are determined, and yaw, pitch, and roll of the fixture are extracted.
