CHARGE PUMP, SWITCH DRIVER DEVICE, LIGHTING DEVICE, AND VEHICLE
Provided is a charge pump including a flying capacitor, an output capacitor, a switch group arranged to switch connection states of the capacitors so as to generate an output voltage from an input voltage, and a feedback control unit arranged to adjust an interterminal voltage of the flying capacitor to a predetermined target value when charging the same. On the basis of a first node voltage applied to a first terminal of the flying capacitor, the feedback control unit adjusts a second node voltage at a second terminal of the flying capacitor. The feedback control unit includes a voltage detection unit arranged to detect the interterminal voltage of the flying capacitor, and a voltage adjustment unit arranged to adjust the second node voltage according to a result of detection by the voltage detection unit.
Lighting Device for Headlights with a Phase Modulator
There is provided a lighting device arranged to produce a controllable light beam for illuminating a scene. The device comprises an addressable spatial light modulator arranged to provide a selectable phase delay distribution to a beam of incident light. The device further comprises Fourier optics arranged to receive phase-modulated light from the spatial light modulator and form a light distribution. The device further comprises projection optics arranged to project the light distribution to form a pattern of illumination as said controllable light beam.
HIGH INTENSITY WHITE LIGHT SOURCE
A white light source (100) comprising a first light source (102) adapted to emit first light, a reflecting wavelength converting element (108) arranged to receive first light from the first light source (102) and at least partly convert it to converted light, and a second light source (104) adapted to emit blue light which in use combines with the converted light to generate white light. The white light source further comprises a beam shaping element (116) adapted to adjust the intensity profile of the blue light emitted by the second light source (104) to match the intensity profile of the converted light. Thereby, a white light source (104) which generates a high intensity uniform white light with a desired color distribution is provided.
