AIRCRAFT HEADLIGHT, AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AN AIRCRAFT HEADLIGHT, AND METHOD OF OPERATING AN AIRCRAFT HEADLIGHT
An aircraft headlight includes at least one visible light source for emitting a headlight light output; a light transmissive cover, at least partially covering the at least one visible light source; and at least one infrared emitter for emitting infrared radiation. At least 90% of radiation energy, comprised in the infrared radiation emitted by the at least infrared emitter, is emitted within a predefined wavelength range; and the light transmissive cover allows at least 25%, in particular at least 30%, more particularly at least 45%, of the radiation energy, which is emitted within the predefined wavelength range, to pass through the light transmissive cover.
Lighting and/or signaling device for vehicles with cap for spacer made in one piece with gasket
A lighting and/or signalling device for motor vehicles, comprising: a container body, a lenticular body that forms a housing chamber; at least one light source, arranged inside the housing chamber; a first gasket made of elastomeric material, which extends along at least one part of a perimeter edge of the container body and which defines a barrier to the ingress of water and/or foreign bodies between the container body and the bodywork. The housing body includes one or more spacer elements, each of which consists of an appendix which protrudes from the housing body in a predetermined position and abuts against the bodywork in the housing seat. Each spacer element is provided with a cap made of elastomeric material applied to cover at least one free end portion of the spacer element.
VEHICLE LAMP STRUCTURE
A vehicle lamp structure includes a housing located at the side of a vehicle and a lamp assembly located inside the housing. The lamp assembly includes a bezel fixed to the housing and a light diffusion unit located at the bezel. The light diffusion unit includes at least two surfaces and a light guide located inside the light diffusion unit. The light guide includes at least two optic surfaces configured to reflect light introduced thereinto. The lamp assembly also includes a light irradiation unit fastened to the light guide and being configured to irradiate light along the light guide.
Vehicle lamp having a mixing lens and plurality of spaced apart optical modules
A vehicle lamp may include a plurality of optical modules and a mixing lens for mixing light emitted from each optical module in front of the plurality of optical modules, thereby freely designing an optical system without restrictions according to a shape of a lamp, and at the same time, realizing a uniform light emitting image in a form of a surface light source.
Single Point Alignment for LED Prescription Optics
A vehicle lamp includes a substrate, a lens having a pivotal attachment to the substrate and defining a lamp chamber between the lens and the substrate, at least one light source provided in the lamp chamber, an alignment portion integral with and extending from the lens parallel to the substrate and having an aperture, and an adjustment mechanism extending through the aperture and the substrate, the adjustment mechanism configured to adjust alignment of the lens with a single-point adjustment.
Illuminating lamp for vehicle
When a pedestrian who is crossing a road or is about to cross a road is detected and it is determined that there is a risk of the own vehicle coming into contact with the pedestrian, a figure rendering forming optical unit provided in a housing of a head lamp emits a spot of light having a predetermined width and a predetermined length to a road surface ahead in a crossing direction including the pedestrian or the like. Accordingly, the pedestrian or the like knows the presence of an approaching vehicle and a driver knows the presence of the pedestrian or the like who is crossing a road or is about to cross a road.
VEHICLE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY
This invention relates to a vehicle headlight assembly comprising: a light source, a housing supporting the light, a bezel equipped over the front side of the housing, and a transparent cover being equipped over the front side of the bezel, wherein the bezel and optionally the housing comprises a thermoplastic resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant is selected from the group consisting of an anthraquinone dye, an amine salt thereof and a mixture thereof.
VEHICLE LAMP, RADAR MODULE, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle lamp includes: a lamp housing; a lamp cover covering an opening of the lamp housing; an illumination unit disposed in a lamp chamber formed by the lamp housing and the lamp cover; a radar configured to acquire radar data indicating surroundings of a vehicle by emitting an electromagnetic wave outside the vehicle; and a concealing part that faces the radar to conceal the radar from the outside of the vehicle and is configured to let the electromagnetic wave emitted from the radar through. The concealing part is formed integrally with the lamp cover. A boundary between the concealing part and the lamp cover is out of a field of view of the radar.
Vehicle perimeter lighting assembly and lighting method
A vehicle perimeter lighting assembly includes, among other things, a base having a concave area and a support ledge, a light source supported on the support ledge such that light from the light source is emitted toward the concave area, and a reflector lining the concave area. The reflector is configured to redirect light emitted from the light source toward an area around a vehicle.
COVER LENS FOR A VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE
A cover lens for a vehicle lighting device is provided, and includes a visual section which is transparent and designated to form the light exit aperture of the lighting device. The cover lens also includes a blank section which is opaque and/or which is designated to be invisible from the exterior of the lighting device. The blank section includes at least one condensation area. The wall thickness of the condensation area is lower than the wall thickness of the visual section.
