Deicing system for an automotive lamp

A lamp or lens assembly for a motor vehicle that includes electrically conductive traces for defogging or deicing the lens. Aspects include a light transmissive lens coupled to a lamp housing. The light transmissive lens may define a curved cross-section with a curvature extending across the length and/or the width of the lens. The lens may include one or more electrically conductive traces positioned on a surface of the lens, the electrically conductive traces optionally extending across and curving with the curvature of the light transmissive lens. One or more coatings may optionally cover the conductive traces and a portion of the lens surface leaving portions uncovered. The electrically conductive traces may extend outwardly away from the surface of the lens with height that is greater than their width.

Hot melt composition

An objective of the present invention is to provide a hot melt composition having a high form maintaining property at a high temperature and being in excellent adhesion to a substrate and in disassembly. The present invention relates to a hot melt composition comprising: (A1) a styrene-ethylene-ethylene/propylene-styrene block copolymer (SEEPS) and (B1) a hydrocarbon-based oil having an aniline point of 135 C. or more.

Mechanically Sealed LED Cavities For Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Attachments

A mechanically sealed LED assembly is designed for enhanced ingress protection in UAV night flight modules. The assembly includes multiple LEDs enclosed within sealed cavities to prevent dust and water ingress, ensuring safe operation in various environmental conditions. An ingress protection stack, comprising an LED base layer, seal components, a baffle, and cover glass, provides additional protection. The seal components are compressed against the LED base layer by the baffle, enhancing the assembly's durability and performance. This design allows for enhanced optical power output while maintaining protection from environmental elements.

Light-transmitting assembly and vehicle

A light-transmitting assembly and a vehicle are provided in the disclosure. The light-transmitting assembly includes a light-transmitting substrate and a light source assembly. The light-transmitting substrate defines a mounting through-hole. The light source assembly is connected to the light-transmitting substrate and positioned at the mounting through-hole. The light source assembly includes a box, a lampshade, and a light-emitting element. The lampshade is detachably connected to the box. The lampshade and the box cooperatively define an accommodating space. The light-emitting element is received in the accommodating space. The light-transmitting assembly of the disclosure can be assembled and disassembled quickly and repeatedly, thereby realizing quick replacement of the light-emitting element.
