LIGHTING DEVICE FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY METHOD
A lighting device for an automotive vehicle includes a printed circuit board having one or more electronic components, and a support joined, or capable of being joined, to the printed circuit board. The lighting device included a first joining device for joining the printed circuit board to the support, the first device permitting the printed circuit board to rotate, with respect to the support, about an axis and perpendicularly to the axis. Also included is second joining device for joining the printed circuit board to the support, located at a distance from the first joining device and capable of blocking the rotations of the printed circuit board with respect to the support, in an assembled configuration of the printed circuit board and the support.

The module includes at least a first and at least a second light sources, at least a first and at least a second optical collectors designed to collect the light emitted by the at least a first and the at least a second light sources, respectively, and for redirecting the light collected in convergent directions. At least one of the at least a first and the at least a second light sources is oriented in such a manner as to emit light in an overall direction of emission moving away from the optical axis. The collector associated with the or with said oriented light sources have at least partially an asymmetrical configuration elongating the collector along the optical axis.
VEHICLE LAMP UNIT
A vehicle lamp unit includes a plurality of light emitting units, each light emitting unit including a semiconductor light emitting element, a circuit substrate on which the semiconductor light emitting element is mounted and having a circuit for supplying power to the semiconductor light emitting element, and an optical member for reflecting or refracting light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting element, and a coupling mechanism which couples the plurality of light emitting units. The plurality of light emitting units are arranged such that the circuit substrates are separated from each other and partially overlap with each other in a vehicle width direction. A number of the plurality of light emitting units is three or more.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ACHIEVING YELLOW COLORED TURN SIGNALS
A vehicle lighting assembly includes a housing, a circuit board, and a lens. The circuit board is disposed within the housing and includes a turn signal light source configured to emit yellow-green colored light at a peak intensity in a range of about 500 nm to about 570 nm. The lens is coupled to the housing. The lens is a single-color optical filter configured to shift the yellow-green colored light emitted from the turn signal light source to a range of about 588 nm to about 592 nm.
Window mounted lighting assembly
A lighting assembly includes a circuit board substrate having first and second conductive traces, a light emitting electrical device, and a pair of electrical terminals interconnected to the light emitting electrical device by the first and second conductive traces. The pair of electrical terminals are configured to mechanically secure the lighting assembly to a pair of corresponding electrical terminals mounted on a panel. The pair of electrical terminals are further configured to electrically connect the light emitting electrical device to third and fourth conductive circuit traces disposed on a surface of the panel.

MULTIFUNCTION LAMP UNIT AND REAR VIEW DEVICE THEREWITH
A multifunction lamp unit for a vehicle includes a housing, at least one light conductor with at least one illuminant provided by an LED on a printed circuit board, at least one light foil, and a clear lens. A method for manufacturing lamps for vehicles includes producing a housing, a light conductor, and a clear lens as one unit out of plastic in a 3-component injection procedure.
Lighting device
The present disclosure provides a lighting device comprising: a reflective element layer; an optical resin layer formed on the reflective element layer; a transparent electrode film layer formed on the optical resin layer; and a plurality of light-emitting units formed on the lower surface of the transparent electrode film layer. The lighting device allows the fundamental cause of the hot spot phenomenon to be eliminated, shows excellent luminous efficiency by efficiently performing the function of a surface light source, and enables the kinds of raw materials and the number of production processes to be reduced by eliminating the use of a PCB board and selectively applying second reflective patterns.
Modular vehicle light
A modular vehicle light comprises multiple elongated modules which are disposed in end-to-end relationship. The modules are mechanically joined and electrically connected in series. The modules are preferably substantially identical. Each module contains a power board with a microprocessor and a buffer. The microprocessor transmits signals to a matrix of LEDs. The LEDs emit light which transverses an optical assembly to form a narrow band of illumination. In one embodiment, a linear matrix of 36 LEDs comprising 3 color groups of LEDs is employed. Fasteners captured in a bracket at the rear of the module fasten the vehicle light to the vehicle.
MOTOR VEHICLE LIGHT DEVICE CASING
The invention proposes a light device casing formed by a wall made of an electrically insulating material, such as a polymer. The casing includes an inner surface forming a housing receiving a light module with a light-emitting diode and a light guide. The inner surface includes a zone reflecting light from the light module out of the casing, and a fixing zone for a control module of the light module. The light device includes a reflecting and electrically conductive coating, which covers both the reflecting zone and the fixing zone. The aluminum coating is cost-effective since it is applied in one step, and it ensures two functions, namely a reflection and a protection against the electromagnetic field.
