LIGHTING AND/OR SIGNALLING SYSTEM COMPRISING TELEMETRY MEANS
The present invention relates to a lighting system including a primary light source producing a primary light beam in the direction of a conversion device that returns a secondary light radiation to an optical imaging system forming a projected light beam. A light sensor generates a signal corresponding to the light received by this sensor. The light includes a non-converted light part of the first primary light beam which is returned by the conversion device in the projected light beam and is reflected by an obstacle situated in the zone illustrated by said projected light beam. A control unit has modulation means generating a modulation signal for the primary light, and demodulation means for processing the signal formed by said sensor, and determines a distance between the obstacle and the lighting system.
BRAKE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
An improved brake light assembly is a brake light with a housing and internal light emitting diodes for attachment in the back window of a vehicle that illuminates when the brake pedal is depressed. When the Light Emitting Diodes are illuminated, the words “No Texting” are formed.
Lamp for automobile and automobile including the same
A lamp for an automobile and the automobile. A lamp for an automobile includes: a substrate part; a plurality of light sources provided in close contact with a top surface of the substrate part and configured to emit light; a fluorescent layer spaced upward from the substrate part and the plurality of light sources and including a fluorescent material; and an inner lens provided in close contact with a top surface or a bottom surface of the fluorescent layer.
LIGHT SOURCE UNIT, AND LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE FOR MOBILE BODY
A light source unit includes: a light source part that emits excitation light; a light emitting part that emits generated light by being irradiated with the excitation light; a support part that guides the excitation light to the light emitting part while supporting the light emitting part; and a reflective part provided on a back surface of the support part, the back surface being on a side opposite to an emission direction of the generated light.
VIEWING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
In a door mirror device for a vehicle, a projector protrudes out toward a lower side from a circuit board, and the projector projects a pattern onto a ground surface. Moreover, illuminating LEDs and guide bodies are fixed to a lower surface of the circuit board. Due to the illuminating LEDs generating lights and the guide bodies guiding these lights, the guide bodies irradiate the lights from lower ends, and the ground surface is illuminated. Here, the lower ends of the guide bodies are disposed further toward a lower side than the projector. Therefore, shadows, which are due to the projector, arising in lights that illuminate the ground surface can be suppressed.
MINI OR MICRO LED-BASED LIGHT MODULE CONFIGURED TO PERFORM PLURAL LIGHT FUNCTIONS SEAMLESSLY WITH DIFFERENT LIGHT GUIDES IN UNITARY ASSEMBLY
A multi-function lighting assembly provides multiple vehicle lighting functions (e.g., rear vehicle tail light and fog light) using a single printed circuit board substrate having mini or micro chip scale package LEDs or their unpackaged LED dies. LEDs for respective ones of the different lighting functions are separately controlled. LEDs controlled for respective functions can be interspersed, or disposed in different areas of LEDs having the same lighting function. A layer of optic components is disposed relative to the outputs of the LEDs and has different optic components for the LEDs of the respective lighting functions (e.g., collimator optics over LEDs controlled to provide a bright concentrated light output, and a diffuser over the LEDs controlled to provide a diffused light output). The multi-function lighting assembly can be employed as a universal board for seamless and convenient integration into various rear lamps having specific inner tail lenses.
LIGHT DEVICE, ESPECIALLY A SIGNAL LAMP FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
A light device, especially a signal lamp for motor vehicles, comprising a carrier bushing (1) with a translucent cover (2) and an inner chamber (3), wherein a lighting unit (4) is mounted providing the light signaling function, and one light source (91), and a filter (6) with at least one first input surface (83) for entry of at least part of light rays (100) generated by the light sources, and with at least one first output surface (82) designed to emit first light beam (102). The filter includes first segment (8) with the first output surface and second segment (7) with at least one second input surface (73) for entry of at least part of light rays generated by the light sources, and with at least one second output surface (72). The shape of the second output surfaces creates a designer element as a light emitting pattern emitted from those surfaces.
VEHICLE LIGHTING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR ACHIEVING YELLOW COLORED TURN SIGNALS
A vehicle lighting assembly includes a housing, a circuit board, and a lens. The circuit board is disposed within the housing and includes a turn signal light source configured to emit yellow-green colored light at a peak intensity in a range of about 500 nm to about 570 nm. The lens is coupled to the housing. The lens is a single-color optical filter configured to shift the yellow-green colored light emitted from the turn signal light source to a range of about 588 nm to about 592 nm.
THREE MODE POLICE MIRROR
A warning indicator system for a vehicle side-view mirror includes light sources disposed to emit light in patterns and/or colors visible through a partially light-reflective surface. One or more processors are operatively configured to actuate the light sources in predetermined sequences defining a stealth mode, a pursuit mode, and a traffic advisor mode. The partially light-reflective surface may be a light transmitting substrate having a coating of a reflective substance provided in a thickness allowing at least a partial transmission of light therethrough. The light sources may be printed light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Disposing the light sources in desired patterns to emit desired colors on actuation in a predetermined sequence allows configuring the side mirrors to emit visible light signals indicative of the stealth mode, a pursuit mode, and a traffic advisor mode.
ILLUMINATION OR SIGNALING DEVICE FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE
An illumination and/or signaling device for an automotive vehicle includes a dielectric substrate including a plurality of conductive tracks, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes surface-mounted on the dielectric substrate. The light emitting diodes are electrically connected to the conductive tracks of the dielectric substrate according to a predetermined connection plan. At least one control circuit board for controlling the light-emitting diodes includes a plurality of connecting pins and an electrical connection circuit board including a plurality of conductive lines for electrically connecting the connecting pins of the control circuit board to the conductive tracks of the dielectric substrate according to a predetermined connection plan. The electrical connection circuit board is connected to the conductive tracks of the dielectric substrate via an anisotropic conductive film.
