Vehicle lamp

A planar light emitting body 6 configured to emit a first illumination light, and a semiconductor light emitting element 7 configured to emit light toward the planar light emitting body 6 are disposed in a lamp chamber 5 defined by a lamp housing 2 having an opening and a cover 3 that covers the opening. The planar light emitting body 6 includes a transmitting layer through which light is caused to pass, and a control layer configured to irradiate light as a second illumination light by controlling a travelling direction of the light that is emitted from the semiconductor light emitting element 7 and passes through the transmitting layer.

Fiber optic light panel having aesthetic appearance in an unlit state

Alighting device for a vehicle includes a light source for generating light, and a lighting panel having a light emitting side and a light reflecting side opposing the light emitting side. The lighting panel includes an optical fiber layer having a plurality of optical fibers each configured to emit the light along a length of the optical fiber. The plurality of optical fibers are arranged in a predetermined form such that the optical fiber layer has a first side facing the light emitting side of the lighting panel and a second side facing the light reflecting side of the lighting panel. A reflecting layer is provided on the second side of the optical fiber layer and is configured to reflect the light toward the first side of the optical fiber layer. At least one layer of the lighting panel is an aesthetic layer selected for aesthetic appeal and being visible from the light emitting side of the lighting panel in an unlit state. A bundling element is configured to hold ends of the plurality optical fibers in a bundle which is optically coupled to the light source.

LIGHT EMITTING APPARATUS, LIGHT SOURCE UNIT, AND MOBILE BODY

A light emitting apparatus is supported by a second support supported by a first support laterally relative to the first support alongside an imaging apparatus, and emits light to be detected by the imaging apparatus. The light emitting apparatus includes a light source that emits the light and a lens on which the light emitted from the light source is incident and that transmits the light incident on the lens. The lens includes a part provided with a dimmer that at least partially reduces light to be emitted to the first support out of the light incident on the lens.
