Lamp device for vehicle

A lamp device for a vehicle is provided. The lamp device includes a light source, a lamp housing that accommodates the light source thereon. A lens is coupled to the lamp housing to allow light emitted from the light source to penetrate the lens and a bezel is coupled to the lamp housing and is disposed between the lens and the light source. In particular, the bezel has a surface structure formed on a rear surface thereof and is configured to reflect irradiated light. The bezel is formed in a color that is complementary to a color of the lens.

Reflective ink lighting assembly

A reflective-ink lighting assembly includes a light transferring medium, a reflective-ink marking in the light transferring medium, and a light source adapted to insert light into the light transferring medium. In a lit state, light from the light source propagates through the light transferring medium by total-internal reflection. As propagated light reflects off the reflective-ink marking, some light exits through a faade of the light transferring medium to produce an illuminated marking. In an unlit state, the reflective-ink marking remains visible due to ambient light reflecting off the reflective-ink marking.

A switchable vehicle lamp lens assembly includes a vehicle lamp assembly, which includes a lens having a first transparent layer and a second transparent layer adjacent the first transparent layer. A switchable electrochemical film is disposed between the first transparent layer and the second transparent layer, and one or more light sources is positioned behind the lens. In an active mode, the switchable electrochemical film is adapted to be substantially transparent when a voltage is provided, enabling light transmission through the lens from the one or more light sources. In a non-active mode, the switchable electrochemical film is adapted to be substantially opaque when the voltage is removed, blocking light from the one or more light sources. The switchable electrochemical film is alternately switched between the active mode and the non-active mode thereby switching the lens between a substantially transparent state and a substantially opaque state, respectively.

Optical Device for a Motor Vehicle Providing Two Separate Lighting Functions

Optical device (2A, 2B, 2C) for a motor vehicle providing two separate lighting functions, comprising an optical housing (4) open at a front face (12). The optical housing (4) comprises a first light source (18) arranged for illuminating a first surface (32). The optical housing (4) also comprises a second light source (20) arranged for illuminating a second surface (40), the second surface (40) being a concave shape and arranged for reflecting a light beam (34B) emitted by the second light source (20) in the direction of the front face (12) of the optical housing (4). The invention is wherein the first surface (32) is positioned between the front face (12) and the second surface (40) and in that the first surface comprises a channel (42) through which at least a portion of the light beam (34B).

Lamp reflector and laminate for reflector

A lamp reflector (10a) includes a mirror surface (11) and a laminate (12a). The mirror surface (11) is a surface for reflecting light from a light source (30) to guide the light in a predetermined direction. The laminate (12a) covers at least a part of the mirror surface (11) to absorb an electromagnetic wave having a specific frequency of 20 GHz to 90 GHz. The laminate (12a) allows the light from the light source (30) to transmit therethrough toward the mirror surface (11).
