The condenser unit is adapted to focus the light emitted by the at least one illuminant into an optical path. At least one mask means is provided, which is arranged in the optical path and by means of which an image, symbol, logo and/or legend can be displayed on a projection surface. A lens unit having at least one objective lens, is arranged in the optical path, and at least one reflector unit, is arranged between the condenser unit and the projection surface. The reflector unit is adapted to deflect the optical path, especially essentially transversely or diagonally, to the projection surface, wherein the reflector unit comprises a reflector element which comprises at least one surface section by means of which the light can be deflected relative to the optical path. The surface section of the reflector element is configured as a freeform surface in order to focus the light.

LIGHT ASSEMBLY

A light assembly is provided for attachment to a surface of a vehicle with a power source. The light assembly comprises a light head including a light, a light head terminal in electrical communication with the light, and a first mounting structure. The light assembly further comprises a first base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The first base includes a second mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the first base. The first base also includes a conductor configured to couple to the power source of the vehicle. The first base also includes a first base terminal in electrical communication with the conductor and configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the first base. The light assembly further comprises a second base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The second base is different than the first base. The second base includes a third mounting structure configured to mate with the first mounting structure such that the light head can be removably secured on the second base. The second base also includes a battery and a second base terminal in electrical communication with the battery. The second base terminal is configured to mate with the light head terminal to provide power to the light when the light head is secured on the second base.

The light assembly includes a vehicle base configured to be coupled to the surface of the vehicle and a light head coupled to the vehicle base. The light head is configured to rotate relative to the vehicle base about a first axis and about a second axis that is different from the first axis. The light head is configured to rotate about the first and second axes at a first speed in response to a first user input, and to rotate about the first and second axes at a second speed that is different from the first speed in response to a second user input.
