Vehicle mirror assembly
A vehicle mirror assembly includes a mirror casing, a mirror, a prism member, and a light emitting member. The prism member is disposed forwardly of a light emitting region of the mirror, and has a front major surface formed with a plurality of parallel prism grooves. The light emitting member is configured to permit a light beam to emit therefrom along a beam axis in response to the detection of another vehicle's approach, and is disposed to permit the beam axis to be oriented substantially perpendicular to groove axes of the prism grooves.

LIGHT ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHMENT TO A SURFACE OF A VEHICLE
A light assembly for attachment to a surface of a vehicle. The light assembly includes a light head including a light and a vehicle base configured to be removably coupled to the surface of the vehicle. The vehicle base includes a magnet configured to secure the vehicle base to the surface of the vehicle and a battery compartment configured to receive a battery for powering the light. The light head is removably coupled to the vehicle base.
Reflective substrate for vehicle lighting alert
A reflective substrate removably connected to at least a portion of at least one of a headlight and a tail light of a vehicle, the reflective substrate including a main body, including a reflective layer disposed on at least a portion of a first side of the main body to reflect an external light illuminated thereon and away therefrom in at least one angular direction toward at least one of a side, a top, and a bottom of the vehicle, and a transparent layer disposed on at least a portion of a second side of the main body opposite with respect to the first side to pass a beam of light from at least one of the headlight and the tail light through the transparent layer to the reflective layer, and a vehicle fastener disposed on at least a portion of the main body to removably connect the main body to at least one of the headlight and the tail light.

Screwless Lighthead Fastening System
A pin is inserted longitudinally into attachment openings of attachment flanges extending rearwardly from an optical element. The flanges extend through a back panel such that the openings are positioned rear of the back panel. When inserted into the openings, each pin flexes inwardly as a leading and trailing guide ramp and a first and second apex pass through the openings. The leading and trailing guide ramps and the first and second apexes then flex outwardly as the first apex transitions to a first seat and/or the second apex transitions to a second seat. There is an outward force of expansion in the frontward to rearward direction when the flanges are positioned on the first and second seats. In this manner, each pin securely attaches the optical element to the back panel.
CONNECTING ARRANGEMENT FOR THE ADHESIVE CONNECTION OF A POSITIONALLY SENSITIVE ELEMENT TO A RECEIVING BODY
A bonding arrangement and a method for the adhesive bonding of a position-sensitive element to a receiving body, in particular of an optical element, such as a semiconductor light source, a reflector, or the like, wherein a UV-curable adhesive is arranged between the position-sensitive element and the receiving body. Provision is made that the bond between the position-sensitive element and the receiving body has at least one cavity for accommodating the UV-curable adhesive and at least one retaining element that extends into the cavity and projects into the UV-curable adhesive. The cavity has a bottom section that is designed to be sufficiently thin-walled that the adhesive can be cured with UV light that can be radiated through the bottom section.
VEHICLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
A light assembly is provided herein. The light assembly includes a pair of light assemblies disposed on opposing sides of a rear portion of a vehicle. Each light assembly includes a housing and a lens. A light source is disposed in the housing and is configured to create a first predefined illumination pattern. A controller is configured to selectively activate the first illumination pattern from one of the pair of housings corresponding to a direction of a vehicle steering wheel rotation.
