20170241618 · 2017-08-24 · ·

The invention proposes a heat dissipation device for a light device of a motor vehicle, comprising a metal support of generally planar form and at least one crimping pin intended to fix a printed circuit of said light device onto said support. According to the provisions of the invention, the dimensions of the crimping pins are independent of the thickness of the support of the heat dissipation device. Methods for assembling the crimping pins on the support, and a printed circuit on the pins, are also proposed.

LUMINOUS MODULE FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE WITH CONNECTION TO GROUND
20170241624 · 2017-08-24 · ·

The invention proposes a luminous module comprising a flexible printed circuit board. The connection to ground of the electronic circuit accommodated by the printed circuit board is produced without adding fastening parts dedicated to this role. Compared to known prior-art techniques, the invention allows a luminous module to be produced comprising fewer constituent parts and occupying a smaller volume.

A vehicle lamp includes a lamp outer case, a reflection-type first lamp unit, a direct emission-type second lamp unit, and a compound lens. The lamp outer case includes a cover and a lamp housing. The first lamp unit has a first light source, a reflector and a shade and forms a collective optical system. The second lamp unit has a second light source, which directly emits light, and forms a defuse optical system. The compound lens is disposed along an inner surface of the cover, and has an outer surface facing the inner surface of the cover that is formed as a curved light emitting surface. The cover also includes first and second control portions. The light emitting surface has a shape which is displaced to the rear as it extends transversely outwards of a vehicle.

Light fixture with curved frame

A lighting fixture for protecting and mounting an array of light sources such as LED modules. The fixture includes a frame with a first surface that arcs or curves with an arc angle of between ten and fifty degrees and an arc length of between about ten to fifteen times the arc height. A plurality of LED modules including a lens and bonnet reflector are each functionally coupled against the first surface to direct a combination refracted and reflected beam pattern, the beam pattern of each LED module having a peak luminous intensity directed substantially normally from the first surface in front of and against which each LED module is functionally coupled. The peak luminous intensity of the combination refracted and reflected beam pattern associated with each LED module has a positive angle with respect to the combination refracted and reflected beam pattern from adjacently located LED modules.

Headlamp Assembly with a Housing and Heat Sink Structure

A headlamp assembly for a vehicle includes housing for coupling the headlamp assembly to a vehicle and a heat sink structure having a first side, a second side, a first edge, and a second edge. A first light emitting diode assembly and a second light emitting diode assembly are each electrically connected to a circuit board. The second edge of the heat sink structure directly contacts an inner surface of the housing, such that the housing is separated into first and second sections by the heat sink structure. Illumination of the first light emitting diode assembly results in a low beam and illumination of both the first light emitting diode assembly and the second light emitting diode assembly results in a high beam.

Heat sink with double sided reference pin
