The composite screen (15) comprises: —a diffuser layer (16) configured to homogenize a light radiation that crosses it; —an operative layer (17) having electronic tracks comprising touch-sensitive pads (18) and connection contacts (19). The electronic control device (10) further comprises at least one connector (20) which connects electrically the connection contacts (19) to the electronic circuit (11) in order to transmit to the latter electrical signals following touching, by a user, of at least one of said sensitive pads (18) on the composite screen (15).

Combination LED lighting and fan apparatus

A combination axial fan and LED lighting system configured to fit into the footprint of a standard ceiling tile. The system includes a housing container and an axial fan. The fan has a fan cavity including air diversion mechanism to direct air from the fan cavity toward the lighting and fan components. The invention includes an airflow surface to direct air existing the fan cavity along an LED light fixture.

Simulated flame device

Simulated flame devices are shown and described having first and second diffusers, each with a sheet having a series of lines etched or embedded on the sheet. A PCB is disposed behind the first and second diffusers and comprises a plurality of light sources disposed or embedded on the PCB. The first and second diffusers may wrap about the PCB to create a 360 degree effect, and the diffusers themselves act to stretch the light emanated from the light sources in a vertical direction. The use of the two diffusers along with changing a brightness of some or all of the light sources over time simulates a moving flame.

A luminaire and LED light engine are provided. The luminaire includes the LED light engine and an optical device. The LED light engine includes an LED array and a partial diffuser. The partial diffuser diffuses light that is emitted by LEDs of a selected first subset of LEDs in the LED array and leaves undiffused light that is emitted by LEDs of a second subset of LEDs in the LED array. At least some LEDs are selected for inclusion in the first subset as emitting light that produces poorly blended colors in a light beam emitted by the LED array. The optical device is configured to receive a light beam emitted from the LED light engine and emit a modified light beam.
