Lens to produce high angle off-axis light with wide beam width
The present disclosure is directed to examples of an apparatus. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a light entry segment that receives light emitted from a light emitting diode (LED), a total internal reflection (TIR) segment to reflect the light emitted from the light emitting diode towards an optical axis of the LED, and a light redirection segment to redirect the light emitted from the light emitting diode and the light reflected by the TIR segment at an angle greater than 45 degrees relative to the optical axis of the LED and greater than 90 degrees along a horizontal axis.
LIGHT SOURCE UNIT AND PROJECTOR HAVING THE SAME LIGHT SOURCE UNIT
There is provided a light source unit including a semiconductor light emitting device, and a rotary mirror device having a mirror surface on a first side, and a second side to which a rotational shaft of a motor is connected, wherein the mirror surface has an undulating section shape of convex and concave shape portions, wherein the rotary mirror device is disposed so as to reflect light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting device on the mirror surface.
LIGHTING FIXTURE WITH REDUCED GLARE
A lighting fixture with reduced glare is provided. Lighting fixtures described herein use a lens assembly to redirect light away from a housing in order to reduce a unified glaring ratio (UGR) (e.g., when viewed crosswise or endwise). The lens assembly may further provide diffusive properties which result in a more pleasing and soft light over traditional lighting fixtures. In aspects described herein, the UGR of troffer-style lighting fixtures can be improved (e.g., reduced) through lens assemblies having one or more light redirection features configured to particularly redirect light emitted at high v-angles (e.g., light emitted sideways relative to the housing at v-angles greater than 70 degrees). For example, the lens assembly may include an inner prismatic surface of a lens, an inner lens, a louver assembly (e.g., over or under a lens), or a reflector to achieve this light redirection.
Optics system for solid state lighting apparatus
An optical element for transmission of light produced by a solid state emitter includes at least one diffuser element, and a reflector supported by the at least one diffuser element and paced-apart from the emitter, the reflector defining an annular lip having an aperture therein and an axis normal to a plane defined by the aperture. The reflector further includes a first frustoconical surface coupled with the annular lip and angling outwardly in a first direction at a first angle relative to the axis, a second frustoconical surface coupled to the first frustoconical surface and angled outwardly at a second angle in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a third surface coupled with the second frustoconical surface and angling outwardly at a third angle.
OPTICAL DEVICE INCLUDING SWITCHABLE DIFFUSER
Optical devices are disclosed. In particular, optical devices including a collimated light source (140), at switchable diffuser (110), and at least one light deflecting element (120, 130) are disclosed. The electrically switchable diffuser (110), in combination with the at least light deflecting element (120, 130) can provide significant changes in the overall distribution of light at the electrically switchable diffuser (110) is switched between two or more states.
Lighting module and lighting device having same
A lighting module disclosed in an embodiment comprises: a plurality of light emitting devices on a substrate; and a reflector arranged in the direction of emission of light from each light emitting device on the substrate. The light emitting device has a light exit surface, and the reflector has a reflecting surface concave toward the substrate, at least a portion of the reflecting surface corresponding to the light exit surface of the light emitting device. The reflecting surface is arranged at a height that increases gradually in proportion to the interval from the light emitting device arranged in the light incident direction. The reflecting surface comprises a plurality of convex portions arranged in a first direction and first bridge portions that connect between the plurality of convex portions. The first bridge portions are arranged along the convex portions and are arranged to be lower than a straight line that connect high points of adjacent convex portions. The convex portions and the first bridge portions have the same length in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction, and the area of the convex portions may be larger than the area of the first bridge portions.
Reflective Assembly, Backlight Module and Display Device
The present invention relates to technical filed of display and discloses a reflective assembly, a backlight module and a display device which can effectively enhance the reflective effect at the edge area of the reflective assembly to improve the display brightness thereof to be in close proximity to the central area so as to achieve a uniform display. The reflective assembly comprises a first reflective plate and a second reflective plate configured along an edge of the first reflective plate, wherein the second reflective plate is inclined towards a direction facing away the first reflective plate with respective to a plane perpendicular to the edge of the first reflective plate, and wherein a reflective surface of the first reflective plate and a reflective surface of the second reflective plate are located at a same side.

A vehicle lamp includes a light source system; a reflection system including a plurality of reflective faces to reflect light beams emitted from the light source system to travel forward; and an optical system including a plurality of lenses respectively corresponding to the plurality of reflective faces. The optical system is configured to transmit at least a portion of light reflected from each of the plurality of reflective faces through a corresponding lens among the plurality of lenses to form a predetermined light irradiation pattern.
LIGHTING DEVICE
A lighting device, in particular a LED lighting device, comprises at least one light source and a reflector extending along and around a longitudinal axis and having an internal reflective surface arranged so as to intercept at least part of the light emitted by the light source and reflect said part towards a light exit opening; the internal reflective surface is a faceted polynomial surface.
