MICRO-LIGHTGUIDE FOR MICRO-LED
A method for fabricating a frusto-conical micro-lightguide for collimation of light emitted from micro-LEDs. The method comprises depositing a layer of UV-curable material onto a substrate. A first part of the layer is selectively cured using UV light having a conical irradiation profile to define a shape of the frusto-conical micro-lightguide. The UV-curable material is developed to remove one of the first part of the layer and a second part of the layer, wherein the second part of the layer is uncured.

Lighting device with narrow light emitting area
A lighting device contains light-emitting elements and has an elongated shape. The lighting device has a housing that has reflective side walls extending in a longitudinal direction of the housing; a cavity formed between the reflective side walls; and light-emitting elements arranged at least partially along the longitudinal direction relative to each other in the cavity. An opening of the cavity forms a light-emitting area, A width of the cavity expands from the light-emitting elements towards the opening at least in sections. A reflective element covers at least a section of the opening and reflects a part of light emitted from the light-emitting elements towards the cavity and reduces a width of the light-emitting area compared to a width of the opening.
Modular Outdoor Light Fixture and Accessories
Provided is a modular light fixture. The device includes a light shroud, a light fixture base having a first cylindrical housing, a second cylindrical housing, a quick disconnect with a pair of external pins, and a light fixture base supporting attachment that includes a pair of P-shaped channels. The shroud attaches to the first cylindrical housing, and the base attachment attaches to the base via the P-shaped channels and the first and second external pins. The shroud and base attachments can be interchanged as desired for use as a hanging light, an up light, a down light, a well light, a path light, a wash light, or any combination thereof. The device allows for quick and easy conversion of lights from one style to another without requiring an entirely new fixture, enables simple repairs, and lessens the number of items required to be stocked by an installer.

Integrated louvres for beam control in an LED lighting device
An optical structure for controlling distribution of light generated by a light source is described. The optical structure includes a primary optics disposed relative to the light source and configured to reflect light generated by the light source towards a target region. The optical structure also includes a secondary optics disposed and aligned relative to the primary optics. The secondary optics is configured to at least partially block light generated by the light source from illuminating a region outside the target region.

Collaborative light show authoring for tessellated geometries
Apparatus and associated methods relate to providing an optical display apparatus that can be used to make a light source display variable apparent sizes in response to light intensities emitted by the light source. In an illustrative example, the optical display apparatus may have a first baffle arranged on the top of a light source. The optical display apparatus may also include a second baffle, the first baffle may be nested in the second baffle such that a first intensity of a first beam of light guided within the first baffle is stronger than a second intensity of the second beam of light guided between the first baffle and the second baffle. By adjusting the light intensities, different display regions of a translucent diffuser may be lit, which may provide controllable apparent sizes of a light structure.
Modular LED illumination device
A refrigeration appliance includes a compartment for storing food items in a refrigerated environment, the compartment being illuminated by at least one modular LED illumination device. The portion of the illumination device disposed within the compartment is generally flush with a mounting section and includes an LED lighting module arranged in a housing. The module has a board member, two or more LED light sources electrically connected to one another and to the board member, and two or more electrical edge connections for allowing electrically parallel connection between two or more modules being interchangeable with one another. A concave reflecting surface is positioned adjacent the module with a majority of light emitted from the LED light sources being incident thereon for reflection into the compartment. A liner defining the compartment has the mounting section to which the housing is mounted, where the mounting section has an inward draft angle.
